My cable I imagine is factory and you can’t budge it I have to take the fairing apart and how did you get your hand around the wiring harness

Whoever last installed the Speedo cable on my bike sinched the crap out of it. Having to use pliers to get it off. Hope I don't brake Speedo in cluster.

Did the cable screw into the bottom of the speedometer or the back

Yes, screws in at the bottom and behind the speedometer it’s self

Changed my cable today and that seems to not have been the issue. Can anyone recommend what else I need to look for?

Just kidding it works once I went for a ride. Now I just need to figure out how to get cruise control to work again.
