SketchUp: Snap and Lock Geometry to the Axes

Lock geometry along an axis while drawing or moving. Snap it to an axis when you can't get it parallel to it at all.

Save your time: just press arrow key on your keyboard when there's no axis when moving an object to lock it.

As far as I understand you are moving the object locked to X Y or Z, but there's no snapping to axis in this video.

In the singular, the word is "axis", phonetically "ack-sis". In the plural, the word is "axes", phonetically "ack-sees".
