Amazing Grace - Violin Solo

An arrangement of the well loved hymn by John Newton, Amazing Grace. This setting is for piano and violin. It begins with the piano playing the melody and the violin playing droning double-stops to give the hint of bagpipes. The piano and violin pass back and forth a simple motif that weaves together the 4 stanzas. he early intermediate player will find this very accessible. (ASTA Level 4). A simplified violin part is also included that is all in 1st position.
