Welcome back, and what a great way for us to celebrate Canada Day by having you back home with us again!! I hope you have a really awesome summer here. You were able to inspire this 54 year old to start venturing out into the backcountry for the first time in my life with your beautiful and most inspiring "Canoe: Icon of the North" film a couple years ago, essentially handing me the key to the magic kingdom, so I 'm eternally indebted to you for that. Cheers!
Thank you, I’m glad to have had (hopefully) a positive influence. I’ve been reflecting a lot on that lately. How I got started, what inspired me, and how that led me to create videos and how now other people could be inspired through them to get out and explore the landscape. All stemming from a single moment a long time ago
Welcome home 😊. The Pinery is a beautiful park, we just stayed there for 4 days recently. I agree 100 % with your butter tart statement. You are looking well, and I hope the adventures you have planned over the summer in Canada are epic. Looking forward to the canoe trip videos as always.
My first time there, I need to go back with the canoe one day. A lot of trips planned, currently driving and filming... Current conditions are making it an interesting trip. Enjoy your summer.
Welcome back. Yes I agree that the butter tart is a celebratory pastry in a quiet unassuming way. I also love that your "back" clothing included socks with your sandals. ...😊
😂 Is there any other way? Truth is, my feet were tired from driving and the sandals were a must but the mosquitos and warnings of ticks kept the socks on.
Hi, Jason! I am new here and very happy to see a human being enjoying the nature and oneself this way. Freedom is so much joy! All the best and looking forward to watching new videos, Nadia
My bro-on-law used to camp every summer at the Pinery, loved it. Both lakes are beautiful and quiet, the fish video was cute. When you had your dessert, I was expecting something from Tim Horton's, lol! Safe travels.
Both places looked perfect for canoe trips. All those beautiful trees to glide by. Really glad to see you safe home. (I'll have mine with dry thanks, Jason.)
I like this video, this park is not far where I live, I am think to go there with my 10 year old son. Have you booked the site before hand. What is the website link for that?
And couldn't agree more about shit food offerings as you travel across country. I've traveled all over the USA by car and as a vegetarian, you could literally starve on the road .... especially in a place like Texas - where meat is put into everything.
Canada is definitely your "happy place"....you lit up when you said: "I'm IN Canada!!!" with a big smile on your face. Welcome home.
Thanks!

Glad ur back Jason! Can't wait to see ur adventures here at home❤ QUESTION... always wondered if a hassel issues coming across the border with an axe?
Not that I know of. It's a common tool.

do you offer any guided tours? I would love to take myself on this camping experience as ive never done it.
Aaaahhh 💯
I hear a cat bird! It’s getting difficult to find butter tarts that use butter instead of seed oils or margarine.
Too funny. When I read the title my first thought was, who do you have to know to get a site at the Pinery. Then the site number said it all. 😈👿
Yeah, when I was booking there were a lot available but I saw that one and thought.. 🤔 This could be interesting 😅
Can you teach me how to
Do all
This?

Yeah, it's tough going for a good healthy meal. 😒
You know you miss that Mexican food
