Do you have confidence that the Detroit Lions defense can end up in the top-10 of the NFL? ⬇
I do, before the slew of injuries we were doing well, this also disrupted chemistry. I believe our CBs clean up the PI and holding gradually. We also take the ball away which I think is the key for us. If our D can be average to above average in yards given up, but top 8 in turnovers, and clean up the penalties somewhat I think that puts us in that top 10-12 range overall.
Honestly, who cares about YPG? Lions are 9th in scoring Defense this year versus 25th last year…
The Lions held Mayfield and Murray to pretty paltry passing stats. Stafford and Smith threw for 300+ yards but they each needed 50+ attempts to do it. No, I’m not worried about the defense.
I've been saying AG is holding the secondary back just look at Davis he's playing worse now then he ever did in Tampa and Arnold just keeps making the same mistakes over and over he's not getting coached to break his habits
Your talkin about 50 yards makes the difference between 30th and 15th.not a very important stat , it’s all about points allowed
We were missing Ifty and Branch at full strength
Great stat: QB Pressures after Week 4:
Hutchinson 40
Zach Allen (Denver) 23
Carl Granderson (NO) and Jonathan Greenard (MIN) 22
Micah Parsons (DAL) and Yaya Diabi (TB) 21
Myles Garrett (CLE) 20
Chris Jones (KC) and Nick Bosa (SF) 19
Tx, for the calming sports destraction. It's kind of like when Robert Damon's character was listening to Charles Dicken's audio writings at night in the Hereafter movie 😉
I've been a Aaron Glenn fan up until this year and thought he just needed the talent to be successful but I cant name 1 player om the vikings D and they have been amazing. I think it's time for a change.
Aaron Glenn is the underlying problem with this defense
Yards are empty calories when teams don’t put the points up the defense is gonna be fine get an edge to help Aiden out and everything will come together
When was the last time a game was decided by "Pass Yards"? Seattle scored 29.... yes 29 Seattle defense didnt allow over 150yds in first three games ... Goff demolished that. Lions scored 42 on 50 possessions Seattle looked like the Stafford led Lions, down by 2 scores every game.
The Lions played the Bucs, Rams and Seabags. Good passing teams and who has the 49ers played?
We are missing Ifty and branch
The only one I would listen to would be Luke he's a colts lover but he knows what he's talking about cuz his eyes don't lie
Injuries are apart of the game I'm not to worried about it to much I think we'll have a really good defense by the end of the season could be top 10 if we're healthy and ref's stop picking on TA, and Carlton Davis.
The defense will get better over the year
Sooner or later it’s gotta fall on AG because nothing is changing even though the talent has increased.
Hey Boomer definitely do not know what you're talking about it when it comes to defense
Anzalone played terrible. Tackling was poor and they kept isolating him on crossing routes
And the penalties dont count in pass yards?
These passing stats that you have stayden are very misleading. Need to check the completion percentage when targeted. Last year, our corners completions percentage. What's in the seventies and eighties depending on the quarterback you looked at. This year, our starting to quarter backs. Davis and arnold completion percentage is in the fifties when targeted. As for penalties well can't control the refs hand checking is and has always been part of the game. Just have to pay the refs like everyone else
In Arizona game Detroit Lions were number 4 to 5 in Rushing and they were two and overall passing offense and you are working on this team terrible
Besides Aidan Hutchinson the others have four and a half sacks how many games have we played brother four games that's one sack per game 🎯 Go Lions 💪😎
And yet Bakersfield Mayfield still won that game didn't he
Who cares about the sack total it's time for us to win super bowls not worried about records
AG sucks out loud. If he wasn't MCDCs buddy he'd have been gone last year. Nepotism is hurting the squad. When the DC is good the players can't shut-up about it...(crickets)
Are you high? Dan has fired several of his “friends” if they weren’t performing. There is no “nepotism” issue with Lions by any stretch of the imagination.
You all are full of s***now 3 weeks now you definitely do nothing I was talking about when it comes to football you guys should stick the basketball your generation 💪😎 Go Lions
And you do LOL 😆
