I’m a Vikings fan. They definitely didn’t get worse because of him. Look how the offense was after he got hurt last year. Our defense was giving up the most points in franchise history, they couldn’t stop a nosebleed. Multiple times Kirk scored to take the lead under 2:00 minutes and our defense broke down. Not saying Kirk was perfect and he didn’t have his flaws, but he’s used as a scapegoat. He never complained or threw his teammates under the bus.
As a Bucs fan, Kirk is that guy no doubt, but props to Raheem Morris for actually knowing how to manage a game regardless of how hectic it got down the stretch with a dropped pass on 3rd down and an interception thrown with less than 2 minutes in the game. I feel like the better coach won the game at the end of the day. I haven’t had, and I continue to have no faith in our coaching staff’s playcalling ability. I’m not fully confident we can see success with Todd Bowles as our HC. That being said, that missed facemask call cost us the game, but I feel that we should’ve still won at the end of the day. That Bucs secondary didn't let Jared Goff score one TD and Kirk put up 500 yds and 4tds. And people were kissing his bu++ for that "Perfect game" vs the Seahawks who gave up 20 to the Pathetic Patriots Offense. This was way more impressive
Offense wasn’t that good that game against the saints, but defense stepped up and kirk got them down the field for the game winning field goal, this was the game in which the offense finally clicked, and if it continues they can go to the playoffs
Kirk is in a new system on a new team recovering from a huge injury mentally and didn’t play preseason so in week 5 against a team that just demolished the eagles on a short week every one betting would have said kirk doesn’t do well and falcons lose so hate if you want the man played a NFL defense and put up 500+ yards go look at the list of qbs thats ever did that , spoiler its really short
