Very nice refab. Would injecting those areas with rust preventing insulating wax spray be a good thing to hedge against this happening prematurely in the near future?
Spot on, It's good to see a thoughtful repair done, If you are going to wax inject it (AFter paint!), The best stuff I've used is from Dinitrol. Cheers, J.
Waxoyl does the job okay, Best if squirted in hot into warm panels, though I know I do not have to say that to you. Please keep up with the updates of what you are up to, There is too much BS on the web, a bit of practical, pragmatic repair is good to see, Best regards, Sam.
There's gaps in the first lot of welding, you could drive a bus through. To be water tight and structural it must be a continuous flowing bead. Looks like a skinny caterpillar.
Great work, looking forward to next episode!
Great repair 👍

when I cleaned it up it was continuous, no gaps
did you weld up the drain hole on the windscreen support ?
no still there, just now the original size!
outstanding job
I notice the steering box is already out, how did you get on removing it with the brake master and servo in place?
did not pose to much of a problem, access was easy as most of the rest of the components were removed
