I really like your approach to the missing dash panel sections. Very neat job. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work. I am at that stage now. I have cleaned and painted the part with the two vent comtrols and am now just starting on the big part with the clips and screws.

Great vid. I have to replace the nozzle on the passenger side. I wonder, how to get to the inner side of the washer jet. Is it sufficient to lift the upper dashboard panel? Regards Heinz

Looking good, Nothing or very little is as satisfying as reassembling those sort of assemblies when all is clean and tidy as you have got it too,
    (Joggler!),
keep up the fine work, J.

First video I see and a very nice job indeed. Personally I also like restoration videos where you see people actually working on their cars (and not only the result) so one can learn the tricks of the trade so to speak. Nevertheless ATB Marc - Belgium

Fantastic job and it looks great. Funny the cat at 6:10. We have a shop cat that is always in and out of vehicles as we work on them. Cheers!

    Shoulda got a series 2!
Joking, but always a big spur on when a replacement is crazy money or unobtainable!

    Nice LandRover.
I use to have a series 3 LWB, I fitted a 4.1 litre ford engine with an automatic transmission.
I also got a 25% over driven transfer case, I also fitted power steering from a 1970’s RangeRover.
Above 130kph was a bit hairy at times

What are the small recessed holes in the top of the dash near the rubber grommet tubes for? I'm doing the same job now but can't remember what they were for...

Hi can anyone tell me if the top flat part of the dash can come off alone leaving the top and lower dash still fixed as I need access to run some wiring from engine bay through the top grommet on the right hand side when looking at the engine head on. Or is there any other easier route to run cabling inside the cab? Thanks

Nice job 👍. I’ve just fitted a new heater control valve and flushed the matrix. The near side demister vent works but the drivers side barely flows warm air. Is it a straight forward job removing the dash to do a clean up and restore any damage to airways?

eBay. Search dashboard vinyl. It comes in 1.35m length.
