@Kevin Hudson, The short answer to your question about it being a national park is 'no'. On the Canadian side, there is the Niagara Parks Commission, but it's not considered a national park, nor is it on the American side. Most of the 'tourist trap' activities are on the Canadian side, mainly because the view is much better.

It's sad that not one of you mention how dangerous flying the drone next to that cable wire cart shuttle was! You scared the people on it to death it looks like. Crap like this gives US real pilot's of drones a Bad name. Anyways there is my 2 cents. Robert From Los Angeles
@@ccooper8040 hang out with groups of people a few times as a stranger's drone goes overhead and you'll notice that there are often people who get *very* upset about the drone. They don't trust that the pilot will keep control of the drone and/or they get pissed off about their privacy being violated (having no clue if the drone's camera can identifiably resolve them or not). It's not simply a right vs wrong issue, rather, it's about being considerate of others and being considerate of the drone community, because the public will push for tighter and more unreasonable drone restrictions if they perceive drones as getting into their space too much.

On the Canadian side you can, drone laws are not nearly as strict here compared to the states.
And it is not a us national park considering the majority of the falls are on the canadian side of the border.
