Having gone to Niagara Falls many times over the years the sheer idea of getting into the water is terrifying tbh. Gorgeous and powerful but dangerous. (The Canadian side is better btw!)
I personally witnessed an Australian tourist go over Victoria Falls (accidentally) and he certainly didn’t survive. In fact, he was split in two at the torso. Zambia Police Service were able to recover his upper body, but the lower body was either washed swiftly down river or caught in a vortex below the falls. 🇿🇲
I live in Niagara Falls, NY and it’s beautiful. However, people need to realize that the bigger waterfall, The Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side, has less rigid and massive sharp rocks at the bottom whereas Niagara Falls, the US side, is almost 100% impossible to survive due to the massive sharp and rigid rocks at the bottom. More people survived going over the Horseshoe Falls than Niagara Falls! And DUH, there are strong railings to keep you from “slipping” or falling off as long as you have a brain, it’s safe. I would highly suggest visiting both the US and Canadian side and experiencing the Cave of the Winds (only US side) that let’s you take a walk right under Niagara Falls and the Maid of the Mist (both US & Ontario, Canada) where you ride boats right up close and almost under the Horseshoe Falls & Niagara Falls. The natural whirlpool is also phenomenal! You can go over it on a cabled trolley from the Canadian side only and it’s so worth it!
@@myacampbell6516 - Is that area still that bad? I remember coming across from the Canadian side after a trip around Lake Ontario as a kid, and the difference was surprising. It was like going from a nice neighborhood into a slum. I would have thought they'd have gentrified it a bit by now.
I live in Buffalo, NY I grew up around the Falls I do not care what anyone says you will not survive under any circumstances!!! You can only understand the true power of the Falls once you witness it in person!!!!
You won’t survive going over the American Falls, because of the rocks, but a few have survived going over the Horseshoe Falls, including a 12 year old boy, in 1960.
There’s a theme park on the Canadian side called MarineLand. It has a ride called the Sky Screamer that’s constructed on a mountain and built very high. If you sit on the side of the ride facing the Falls, you’ll get the best view of the Falls money can buy.
Step 1: Climb for 20 meters high. Congratulations you climbed mount Everest. We made another video on how to survive climbing mount Everest till 8km high.
Waterfalls are beautiful but also deadly. In Idaho we have Shoshone Falls (212 feet high), the "Niagara of the West". And let's not forget Multnomah Falls in Oregon, at 620 feet high.
I've often wondered about the likelihood of survival if someone launched themselves over the falls at top speed on a jet ski, but also had some type of miniature hang gliding contraption or suit that would allow them to glide long enough to ensure they cleared the rocks below (FYI, they would let go of the jet ski once they went airborne)

I would also recommend hiking the gorge trail to view the rapids & Fort Niagara too!
Journey behind the falls is cool too, but the best thing to do there is the helicopter rides.
@@danixmoffat7229 You ever take a ride on them thunder boats ?
@@sandmantk4901 Nope.
My family’s favorite vacation spot .. Taking my boyfriend this summer it’s so beautiful 💕

I am currently falling down Niagara Falls watching this video and the info is really helpful. Thanks and goodbye!
I've visited Niagara Falls and it's a magical place to visit and live
Lmao no it’s not, I love 20 min frome there, one of the shittiest places in NY, Canada side is nice tho
@@myacampbell6516 - Is that area still that bad? I remember coming across from the Canadian side after a trip around Lake Ontario as a kid, and the difference was surprising. It was like going from a nice neighborhood into a slum. I would have thought they'd have gentrified it a bit by now.
@@myacampbell6516 really? when I went the canadian side was actually kinda dirty and stuff, but the ny was ok-ish.
@@myacampbell6516 I agree bro .
The ship ride is the most fun part.
I met some of the kindest people there.
"The best way to survive falling into Niagara Falls is to not fall in" - genius
Fun Fact: in 1901, a lady called Annie esbolh went in a barrel down Niagara Falls and she survived!
It’s so beautiful wish I could go back
Fortunately this is one survival tip I'll never have to use. 😊
Ethan and Hila just chilling in this informational video
I live in Buffalo, NY I grew up around the Falls I do not care what anyone says you will not survive under any circumstances!!! You can only understand the true power of the Falls once you witness it in person!!!!
You won’t survive going over the American Falls, because of the rocks, but a few have survived going over the Horseshoe Falls, including a 12 year old boy, in 1960.
@@jenniferrogers2492 He was seven. Roger Woodward.
over the last 100 years around 2,000 people have gone over (estimated)
how many survived? 10? the odds are not good.
There’s a theme park on the Canadian side called MarineLand. It has a ride called the Sky Screamer that’s constructed on a mountain and built very high. If you sit on the side of the ride facing the Falls, you’ll get the best view of the Falls money can buy.
The "He did not make it out alive this time" really gave me sadness.
Imagine you are in the edge of the fall..and watching this tutorial
I’m doing it right now
“Oh-no”
“Don’t tell me. We’re about to go over a huge waterfall”
“Yep”
“Sharp rocks at the bottom?”
“Most likely”
“Bring it on”
At elementary school, when I was writing a narrative about going there, I described the waterfall as about 150 feet tall, so I was pretty close.
Very handy video, you never know when you could find yourself going over Niagra Falls.
Omg I'm cramming for an exam on natural wonders and this actually helped a lot!
May God help you to succeed Aameen.
I just visited Nigeria falls 2 weeks ago..it's beautiful 😍
Idea:how to survive mount everest
Step 1: Climb for 20 meters high.
Congratulations you climbed mount Everest. We made another video on how to survive climbing mount Everest till 8km high.

How to survive falling into the Niagara Falls

Cool stuff.
how a guy breaks his ribs and almost breaks his spine and thinks, im gonna do this again
Waterfalls are beautiful but also deadly. In Idaho we have Shoshone Falls (212 feet high), the "Niagara of the West". And let's not forget Multnomah Falls in Oregon, at 620 feet high.
Fact: Niagara Falls is deeper at the base than it is high.
I’m not sure why, but that scared the shit outta me
Thanks for the tips… I feel more confident now. Gonna give it a go.
As a Canadian I’m proud of our falls!
This is what I always wanted to do.
This is my life's purpose
Thank you
Such a beautiful place glad I can bike there!
That was the smoothest transition in promoting the next video that I've seen yet lol 😆 great job 👏
any h3 fam spot ethan and hila at 3:29 😂
😂
Me living in the Caribbean taking intense notes...
A dude tried, he died. This mist from the falls caused his parachute not to open
Should do a "How to survive going to see the Titanic" next
All the Warner Bros cartoons make it look like it's so fun 🤣
I love the video
My father went in with no protection neither, my mother hasn't seen him since
Ive always been terrifed of niagra falls. I was born and raised in michigan lol. Even seeing videos terrifies me.
I live here, I've thought about jumping a few times but it's too intimidating I'd rather jump infront of a train😂😂
I’m so hooked on these videos
I live in Pakistan and chances of me visiting Niagra falls are zero still i am watching this video like i am stuck in Niagra falls😂 Man! Mind is FUNNY GUY😂
Hello, I know this has nothing to do with the video but Ive always wondered about Pakistan. I would love to travel there. How is it there for a young woman tourist? Any tips or recommendations? :)
@@kathylopez6767 Hey! its totally safe for a young woman to travel in Pakistan, the People of Pakistan are extremely friendly and their hospitality towards foreigners is just heart melting. There are many group therapies that might help. Most are free. Group therapies might make it easier to talk about your situation. Stay safe and GOD bless you.
Amazing beautiful ❤👋
I would just sing before dying 😔🙌🏻
Sing "Oh Canada", so maybe you'll go to a Canadian hospital if you do happen to survive.
