Over the next several months, I will be sharing each and every one of Chopin’s nocturnes with you - including those published posthumously. I am delighted to be recording these works and I hope they can bring you a moment of peace and healing.

Your donations will allow me to:
- Continue to produce tracks for my Chopin Nocturne Project
- Purchase a new microphone to create an at-home recording studio
- Finance the cost of regulating my Steinway and Sons piano
- Release an EP of the complete Chopin nocturnes, and hopefully, a physical album
Thank you so much for your support.
Much love,
Haley

Good Morning from Poland... Country of Frederic Chopin. I would love to be a piano only to have the privilege of being seen, attracted, touched, possessed and caressed by the hands of Haley Myles. She plays the piano with his soul, sensitivity and fragility at the same time. Seing him at here was one of a lifetime experience. Thank You, Haley...
Jan, I am so deeply touched! 😌🙏🏻 my interpretations of Chopin's Nocturnes have received the whole gamut of feedback - from negative to heartwarmingly positive. I know that the way I play will not please everyone, but I do my best to follow Chopin's musical intentions and to play what I believe to be true. Thank you again for your kind comment and support 🩷
From the first time I heard it, this became possibly my favorite Chopin piece, definitely my favorite of his Nocturnes. Wonderfully performed here, beautiful, dark, disturbing, and elegant, in all the ways I'm sure Chopin intended.
Thank you so much 🥰 I agree with you wholeheartedly - this is one of Chopin's darkest pieces. There are moments that are tumultuous and filled with anguish, but Chopin never loses his hope and spirit.
Anyone who can play this piece gets my vote of praise. Your octave playing was really good.
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen, Natalie 😌
Haley I have slept to Chopin's nocturnes every night for the last 15 years. I've heard Rubenstein, Horowitz, Agerich, Valentina & my favorite Anna Fedorova play them. You played this just as good! Don't listen to stupid haters and keep up the awesome playing!
I just noticed that this video has hit 10k views - this is a lot for me! And what comes with many views? Many opinions! I won't and I can't please everyone. I do my best to honour the composer's wishes when performing and I am always growing and learning. Three years have passed since this recording and I would likely play it differently today. Thank you very much for listening and for your kind comment, I do appreciate it ☺
Beautiful! Thank you for this present and for sharing!
It is my sincere pleasure, Enrique. Thank you for listening!

Played very well indeed considering the complexity of this piece particularly the octave passages. She did not play the doppio movimento too fast as many pianists do. Well done Haley.
I'm very happy that my interpretation resonated with you, Robert 🙏🏻 I've recorded this piece several times over and each time it has been different! I think I have recordings of this Nocturne in Manchester, London, as well as the 'official' recording from my album on my channel.
@@HaleyMyles Thanks Haley, I’m working on this nocturne but struggling!
@@HaleyMyles Thanks Haley, I’m working on this nocturne but struggling!
Cheers Haley,
Very well played!
You make the spread chords look so easy! Perfect tempo!
@@stevenbeer6005 thank you kindly, Steven! I'm glad you enjoyed listening ☺
Bravo Bravo. What a talent playing Chopin. Congratulations 🎶👏😘🎶🎹
Thank you for following my nocturne journey, Lluís! 🤗
Да перестаньте вы, после такого исполнения и Шопена слушать не захочешь, послушайте лучше сначала Алексея Султанова, а потом восхищайтесь.
Just plain awful. Listen to your playing. Embarrassing for Chopin and yourself.
My favorite nocturne. Thank you 👍👍
Thank *you* for listening and supporting my channel, I appreciate it 🙏🏻
C était magnifique ! Bravo 🇫🇷
ahhhh hermosa melodia para esta Semana Santa. Dios te bendiga hoy y siempre
Muchas gracias, Antonio. Te deseo una feliz y bendita Pascua 🙏🏻🤗
fantastic. thank you
And thank *you* for listening! 🙏🏻😌
It's so impressive. I appreciate.
Tesekkur ederim, Koray 🙏🏻☺️
❤❤❤
So great!
This is Mrs Haley Myles's Chopin. Not stereotype but your original, I think.
I expect your new recording.
I purposefully didn't listen to other interpretations when learning Chopin's Nocturnes - I didn't want to be influenced by others and wanted to discover the music for myself 🙏🏻 thank you for listening and commenting!
Love your style and technique, you make these difficult nocturnes look as if they were easy to play.. thank you for sharing 🥰 a Steinway and a Bosendorfer to choose from… I’m so jealous lol
Oh, thank you so much! The Bösendorfer is my husband's piano - that's the reason we have multiple instruments 😀
Beautiful interpretation😃😃😊😊
Thank you, Duanne! 🌼 I appreciate you coming to RUclips from my IG 🤗
Am I right in thinking you played the first section faster than is usual so you could obey the “meno mosso” marking in the second section more easily?
Magnificent interpretation of my favorite Chopin Nocturne, without a doubt one of the best. Thank you so much!
So kind, thank you 🙏🏻☺️
Mil gracias Haley por tu apasionada y minuciosa interpretaciòn! ...tienes un exquisito gusto musical y estètico que habla de que tu alma es aùn màs bella que tuprecioso cuerpo. Sigue adelante!
Wow, what a compliment 😄 thank you for your very kind words about my playing and musicality 🙏🏻
You did very well. This is a very hard piece to get down perfectly. Maybe slow down the first part some, and enhance the differences between ff and pp.
Beautiful interpretation ❤
Thank you for listening, Tony! My album of the complete Chopin Nocturnes is available on streaming platforms, if you'd like to listen 🤗
Very good :)
Thank you for listening and supporting my channel ☺🎶
👏👏👏👏👏🌹🌹🌹
Love the expression and interpretation minus the opening part. It was played too fast for my liking. Talented, professional and lovely performance overall though.
To each their own! Thank you for listening and supporting my channel 🙏🏻
Third section marked "pp". Should be very soft with just the top note pronounced. Hard to play this part.

Is this a model O Steinway?
New York Model M 😊
@@HaleyMyles cool! I have an O, NY, 1914
she's hot ..i mean the way she plays Chopin ( absolutly not talking about her feet )
LOL! I am relieved 😉😅
I prefer Rubinstein.
You don’t respect the Chopin tempo
Incorrect, she was accurate
Tempo in romanticismo is not ABOUT metrónomo. The central idea in this composition is spitiritual.
None of us heard Chopin play. Evidence suggests he also arpeggiated chords at will and desynchronised the hands, but no one complains about not respecting that.
This talented pianist has money for make-up, nice clothes, tattoos, hairdresser, wellness center and a persian carpet but she doesn't have money to tune her two prestigious pianos...
For what reason do you feel the need to comment this? So condescending for what reason? Are you envious of her lifestyle?
Talented? This is the worst performance by any real pianist i have ever heard. She can play the notes is all.
I prefer Valentina Lisitsa.....this sounds choppy, no legato
To each their own 🤗
@@HaleyMyles...it is great that you can play the notes.....but.....
@@elizabethavolck7784 😂
@HaleyMyles ....my teacher said to me.....never play anything in public that you have not worked on for at least ten years....perhaps you need 30. He was trained at Juilliard school of music....an international concert pianist. Laugh all you want. Taking criticism is not easy for some. You have no musicality whatsoever. Robotic playing.
@@elizabethavolck7784 says someone who has no videos posted of their playing... 😅 look - we are all entitled to our own opinion, but we don't have to be unnecessarily mean! And your criticism isn't helpful or well-intentioned. Practise kindness!
