      Xifaxan, low carb, fasting, Dr Davis' SIBO Yogurt (this one helped control bloating the most) and his other protocols. NONE have rid me of SIBO. I've read it's probably because of having too much ecoli in the gut - from too much antibiotics OR food poisoning... I've had both :( I'm trying to find a way to kill the ecoli specifically in my gut now. Seems logical. Any ideas? All these stupid YT videos only go over prevention, not ridding my gut of them.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  2 года назад +3

      HI Beverly, in the free digestion course that you'll find the link to in the description below this video, you'll learn that we recommend people use HCL without pepsin. Pepsin is not bad, but at the higher dose that most people need to use HCL, that much pepsin can create discomfort.

    If you have the runs (super acidic stool) would that kill the bad bacteria?

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  2 года назад +6

      A significant case of diarrhea can kill some bacteria, but it can also kill good bacteria. And remember that some microbes thrive in an acid environment as well, which is why you really want to make sure you have stomach acid and bile flow.

  • @yourenough3
    @yourenough3 Месяц назад

    I have a question , is it okay to take an hcl w/ pepsin before taking supplements in order to absorb the nutrients from the supplements ? Or should I just keep taking hcl with meals only ??

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Месяц назад

      We like to see people only use it with meals.

  • @jkow814
    @jkow814 Год назад +4

    But bile is also antimicrobial, so it will kill off that bacteria as well.

    • @KickItNaturally
      @KickItNaturally  Год назад +7

      It's believed to be antimicrobial and can kill SOME bacteria. But what you really need is stomach acid there to wipe out MOST bacteria, and the types that do better in an acid environment will then hit that alkaline bile that can help wipe them out. So don't think that you're okay as long as you have stomach acid OR bile flow. You need both.

      Hi Tracey, In most cases, yes. Which makes sense. Food is suppose to acidify in the stomach, so when it's not doing that, there is no signal that it's time for the food to leave the stomach. It can happen for a wide variety of reasons, but our totally free digestion course will show you how to look at your body chemistry and gain more insights into why it might be happening and how to fix it. HI Tracey. Yeah, that is a little more complicated, but gastritis is often caused by a lack of stomach acid, so that function still needs to be corrected or the issues will just continue to come back. But you may need to take other steps before you qualify to increase stomach acid. Steps like improving bile flow so the bile can neutralize those acids as they leave the stomach, or steps to decrease the overgrowth and such. Going through our totally free digestion course will help you start to walk through those steps. You can find that here: kickitnaturally.com/course
