I think we can get away without signing a RCB this month but a RF is a pressing need. If Jacob's form dips or Alex joins Callum on the injury list then it would be very tense - at least Will Osula can play both positions & after a few months of Eddie Howe training he can emerge leveled up. I wouldn't want to pay premium for Elanga. We need the scouts to unearth another Nobby Solano :)
My personal opinion have changed a little. We need a striker above anything else. If Isak is sidelined, the whole team has no more outlet whatsoever and literally gone. While on the RW we have many alternatives, and while not ideal, is not as devastating as losing Isak’s position. Clearly in Eddie’s eyes, Osula is not ready whatsoever. He rather play Willock upfront. So we need a proper striker that can give Isak a rest and depth of quality in that area.
@JohnnyJakarta Well there is urgency this season itself when there's a potential push for trophy and european spot. Cross fingers if Isak sidelined for any reason and Wilson not available, the whole momentum will just fizzle out overnight
