That is a asymmetric lift The angle of the columns has nothing to do with being symmetrical or asymmetrical it has to do with the arm design if they were equal front and rear it would be that way the front arms on that Lift should be swang rearward not around the front like that in the down position
Not fully accurate. I have a symmetrical lift and they have different length arms when retracted. The shorter one has more stages so it extends the same length, but retracted it's shorter. Asymmetrical you're forced to pull in one direction only and the columns are 30° off center and the front arm won't extend as far.
