Yes, I bought it. So, today will employ the pack for a track. This is the second time I’ve heard the name Brian Eno. Who is he? It’s time for me to learn. 🎉
After your review, i had to buy this patch library and I agree with you that this is on another level. It has inspired several ideas for ambient songs and sequences. I can use 90% or more on tracks, they are so useable. thanks Adrian.
Good morning Adrian 🌄! So good to meet you. Thank you for this awesome video 📹. Super well played and presented 😊. I hope everything is going well in Your 2024 thus far. Mark Bensette Aux Bois 🇨🇦.
Fantastic review Sir, I have just bought the library. Would love an overview of Aphex Twin and his sound design choices using Omnisphere if you have time in the future. Cheers.
Luftrum is the first sound designer I go to when looking for a patch. I have his libraries for Zebra, Diva, Hive, Omnisphere and Alchemy (which I still have on my PC). Ambient 3 for Omni sounds good but I'm going to pass on it. After a while, all you're doing is collecting sounds and there's no way you have the time to actually use them in a song.
Thanks for stopping by. I completely get what you’re saying. There comes a time when you are saturated with sounds and cannot see/hear the wood for the trees. There again, if I’m in a creative rut, a new patch library can spark some fresh ideas. I go by the maxim of buy what you need, not always what you want.
I've had Omisphere a long time, and I'm really impressed with these sounds. Omnisphere 2.8 is a beast (and a Ram hog I might add), but these sounds somehow take their engine to another level. Yeah, I'm getting it.
I still have and use extensively the Original Camel Audio Alchemy. I have a lot of purchased sound packs from BT...Luftrum... Biosphere etc...Still an amazing VST to this day!!.
Ah yes, the good old days. I had Alchemy but can no longer use it as I moved to a Mac the other year and don’t use logic. I’ve been a Cubase man since the days of Pro12.
@AdrianEarnshawMusic Yes it's an old Mac, Logic 9. I keep it in the studio mainly just for Alchemy and a couple of other old vsts from the past:). I moved to Windows a few years back, use Ableton live, and just a few weeks ago started to use Bitwig and Reaper. I primarily use hardware synths, samplers and drum machines, but I do like vst also. Omnispher, Avenger, Falcon, Dune 3, Wavestate, to name a few, all on Windows 11 systems, but I still love to fire up the old Mac so I hear some of those old Alchemy packs. I was gutted to see how Apple ruined it...Sigh!!.
Luftrum always delivers top level stuff. And this might be his masterpiece. I normally instantly buy all his stuff and I never got disappointed. Great Review Adrian !
Well done! Thanks for sharing and the depth of how you put it to great use. Much appreciated!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed this one.
brilliant sound set, love it for Omnisphere, thanks Adrian for reviewing and showing others just how fantastic it is.
Thank you for the kind words, there's another amazing patch library coming out in the next few weeks. Keep your eye peeled for that one.
Will do thanks.@@AdrianEarnshawMusic
