To share my experience, I've had over 20 times IPL in salon and left with 90% of body hair, but the remaining 10% just doesnt work with IPL anymore. I think IPL is good for reducing body hair volume and laser is for getting rid of them completely. In my case I think tria would work better since I only got small targeted areas anyway.
@@solite4168 thanks for your reply! You are amazing! I bought the Tria because it is the only device which uses Laser, so theoretically: permanent results are expected! But this wasn't my Experience. I could only observe a decrease in the amount if hair on the long run. People are amazed at the beginning, how the hair falls away, this gives the device good reviews. I am curious about Lumea, because many people say that it is good!
@@aliss1192 Hiya - thanks so much! That's also why I bought the Tria, because of the red laser. You're right it worked great at the start. Then hair came back! So it was a risk to spend another approx £400 on the Lumea, but I took the risk. And it was so worth it honestly. I only had to laser legs for example like 3-4 times total in past few years and the hair has not come back! My life has changed. Go for Lumea you won't regret it. :)
I can see that you're a woman of colour, the Tria is not recommended for type 5 and 6 skin tone, would you say you're a 4? Did you get burnt at all with the tria?
Both are effective, but I would say the Phillips Lumea gives faster results! At the time of making the video I hadn't used the phillips so I couldn't tell which is better.
@@memomemo9145 I don't know but I just checked on google now and it says Tria does 90,000 flashes and Lumea does 250,000 flashes. This depends on which model you choose of course.
@@memomemo9145 The flashes do seem like a really important factor before buying but after you buy it you just want it to work quick. The reality is both has many more flashes than you'll probably use so better to choose the more effective one. Hope this helps 👍
Not that I know of. I only purchased a philips lumea, so I'm not an expert on it sorry. Please contact Philips directly to ask such specific questions. Thanks
Yes sure. The results with the Phillips Lumea have been great actually. In roughly about 3 uses in each area there has been like 80% reduction. Sorry didn't have time to make another video but this is my real experience written in this comment! :)
I would recommend the Lumea as it produces faster results in larger areas! You will be pleased, it surprised me. I thought nothing could beat the tria, but this did. Hope that helps 💗🌻 Happy lasering!

Hey thanks for sharing your experiences...
Thank you for sharing your experience, Which one is less painful?
Both are not painful on lowest setting. You can increase setting as you become more used to it.
I also had the same thoughts to use both
May I know which Laser works very effective for Face Area?
I can use both together in same time , I want buy both
Yeh why not! :)
Which one seems to be more effective?
Did you recognise a difference between Tria and Lumea other than the size?
Hiya... yes the Lumea was more effective. It worked quicker with longer lasting results! I was amazed.👍😊

@@aliss1192 Yes good point - I am so busy these days with work, but will do when I get time. Thanks!
Did it stopped the hair completely from growing, at least for some time, or did it only reduced it?
It really worked well - 1 year later hardly any hair came back! Odd few ones left to do now. :)

So, Are they both has same pain on higher settings?
Im not sure to be honest but I think they feel different. I stopped using the Tria after the Philips Lumea worked so well!
Which one is best???
For me the Phillips was the best one.
@@solite4168 what about results? for thick hair
@@manoch7867 Mano as my message above says Philips...good also for thick hair 👍
