@@ReachTea I wouldn't call them barbie cosmetics, but it is definitely focused more on the shop than the actual gameplay and that's why it's a bad game.
My favorite thing is how Halo MCC still randomly crashes out of nowhere on PC AND Xbox despite the fact it was made specificallly for Xbox and it's been almost 10 years since the game's been released.
MCC combat evolved has had a memory leak issue for months now. The game becomes unplayable after playing for a few minutes. I can’t even properly enjoy the old Halo games with how janky the MCC is.
Halo has never moved on, it was trying to with Halo 3 when Bungie parted with Microsoft. Their development made sense. ODST to support the trilogy, and Reach to put Halo into a different direction for themselves and the series. We'd see Halo-like games that >evolved< into something else. When 343i came into the scene and made Halo 4 as a weird mirror of Halo it was a bad sign. Halo 5 had something to prove, similar to the prequel trilogy of Star Wars, that it was more than Halo and Master Chief, but burdened by the need to input original Halo details. It's a shame that 343i has an identity crisis and chooses to not understand what made Halo 1, 2, 3 work. They really do need to let Halo go to another studio who has no Halo burden at all.
At this point I just wish Microsoft announces Halo has been shelved. Franchise needs to be put out of its misery. The change in management wont help. Might have to make a video about that myself. Good video here though.
They need to stick with Infinite and stick with the story. They were so close to having it right, just the lack of content. Gameplay, and art style was perfect
@revan5293 It's unfinished, lack of biomes and story missions. If given time, and a lot being added, the campaign and story could be really good too. I don't think Staten had enough time to finish what he wanted honestly
@DDOG2006 And after what 343 did lore-wise is IRREFUTABLY NONCANON, they made the most inconsistent timeline when BUNGIE only had 1 contradiction ever and that was Halo Reach vs Fall Of Reach.

Humans being forerunners: Even if the case was made for Guilty Spark to be rampant, it still would not refute the fact there were plenty of hints to humans being forerunners [Humans are able to access the tech while no other species has ANY authorization to, and a monitor captured by the gravemind called master chief a reclaimer and still talks about containing the flood even though he was CAPTURED BY IT'S MAIN HIVEMIND, can't also forget the New Mombasa buildings poking at humans being forerunners, and the literal activation index that can wipe out ALL sentient life is only accessible by humans, which you would think forerunners if separate would deny this power to their next species to rule, or at least require authorization from THE TOP RANKS.]

Bungie never planned them to be the same because simply put, they hadn’t planned the forerunners out at all. The closest they came was the cut h2 ending which…. Well was cut.
Subscribed. Quality content here, I've been a halo fan since Ce released. Right now I'm really hoping for an expansion or some type of content for the infinite campaign. Spent a lot of time on multiplayer during earlier titles, but for me the campaign was always a highlight. I've never been a fan of FTP, because a ton of companies put barriers to the experience which costs the quality of the product and over time increases the actual cost of playing it compared to a priced game with all content unlockable. Right now the only halo content I'm waiting for is the next Halo 2 uncut mod update. Vengeful Vadam and the team working on it is doing a great job so far.
Microsoft has a big problem with there studios there is just no doubt about that. How is it possible to fuck up exclusive titles that bad I don't get it. Good games sales the hardware, so was it back in the day and so will be it in the future...
Halo is the greatest legacy that Bungie has created it's just 343 is having a hard time trying to build their legacy I'm not upset with the franchise at all it's just as hard to perfect somebody else's work that's with anything you do there always be criticism behind it but it's the effort to correct those mistakes that counts and I honestly feel like 343 needs help
i hate bonnie ross. i hate their management. halo infinite had potential but 343 was desperate for money and to fit in, into the fortnite battlepass item shop. now all this game is, is a cr*ppy f2p battlepass game with tons of items to purchase for real money. theres no progression at all in this game.
Yeah I'm kinda sad I wasn't born earlier to experience halo in the late 2000's and early 2010's I played all of bungies halo game's and loved them and some campaigns more than once. And then I tried to play halo 4 and finished the first mission but then i got too bored too play the rest.
I grew up playing CE, 2, 3, ODST then Reach. 4 really made me sad honestly, it felt like the end of a huge era. Don't worry though, eventually we will hopefully have a new era that you can enjoy even more
and also it might get worse for halo. now that microsoft has activision and the biggest fps at their hands. i expect microsoft and xbox's main focus on cod.
