Clone Captan Grey was completely changed for The Bad Batch. We originally saw Grey as a commander in a canon Order 66 comic back in 2015. We also didn't see his squad mate Captain Styles. Hopefully we see more clone trooper stories!

We never found out what happened to clones like Boil, Crys, or Warthog.
Doom, Crys, Warthog, Bly, Deviss, Styles, Rys, Thire, Vill, Appo, Bow, Keeli, and the list goes on...
It’s so sad Disney can just decanonize amazing books and other storylines without too much thought, my friend was so mad when the sequels decanonized all the books in that era and made luke, ummm…we don’t talk about that
Making a book/comic that's part of the new canon just to immediately disregard it is arguably worse

I just still don't understand it, why change his armour colour, why change Depa's green saber to a blue one, and why is it day instead of night? The story that Bad Batch retcons occurs in the first 2 issues of Kanan. I'm of the opinion that current writers are too lazy to read the first 2 issues of something to keep continuity.

I don't hate his current design but the comic one was way better. The red is much nicer that the green

Kanan's inclusion in the bad batch was just dumb it just discarded the book showcasing his order 66
The bad batch should've just had nameless Jedi we knew nothing about
Kanan's appearance in Bad Batch and Tales of the Jedi and big examples of them doing bad job with cameos
I want to know what happened to Cody. He went AWOL and that's all we know. Also, Disney has to explain how Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor came together on Lothal. There are other questions that must be answered about the clones. Hopefully Disney is up to the task of filling in the gaps.
Yeah I feel like we need 1 more clone series to fill in the gaps. Ironically I thought The Bad Batch would bring us up to speed in some sort of epilogue/arc.

@@StarWarsExpanded theyd rather arbitrarily end a series before it weas naturalyy concluding despite it being very popular and bum rush the last like 4 episodes in their already shortened final season and in doing so gloss over a lot of plot points opened and to be left a mystery.
I think they changed his colour because red is similar to the Coruscant guard and viewers might've got confused thinking he's psrt of the Coruscant guard
Yeah I think you're spot on, and pretty much the next scene in the first episode is the Coruscant Guard arriving on Kamino

I read the Wikipedia page about his old canon story, and then when I saw the new canon story in the bad batch, I was a little disappointed that they didn’t stick with one story but honestly, they’ve been doing that quite a bit so it didn’t phase me as much

I think they changed it because they wanted to keep Kanan’s extreme hatred of clones consistent, so they took out that “clone saving Kanan” part. Not sure if I can have an opinion on this, because I liked the bonding between him and Rex in Rebels, moving past his hatred, but Rebels wasn’t a very good show in the least, so if that was changed for the comic to be canon, I honestly don’t know how to feel rn.
They should have made his armour Red it looks better- and included styles too cause now technically the story of Kanans early years are no no longer rlly cannon which is a shame

Dave Filoni has no respect for the comics and novels, he'll do anything to subvert the canonicity of the reading material for the sake of his own shows. Someone has to get that man under control. It was his idea to retcon Kanan's Order 66 story and bring back Ventress.
