You simply cannot make a sitcom as good as this one again. The jokes, the cast, the plot. Everything was so ahead of its time. Can't even imagine how much backlash they would've gotten if they filmed this in today's age, with all the sensitive Karens lurking and waiting for anything to bitch about.

But more importantly: Alan tells Jake to go watch TV, which is in the corner of the kitchen/living room.

Having worked around unions, when the union won’t give specifics for why they are striking, it is because they are guilty of worse... I have Jewish ancestry, I have many Jewish friends, I stopped attending Southern Baptist churches in 1989 when a keynote speaker at the southern baptist convention started their address with the phrase, “We have to start working on the Jews again,” but Lorre using that comment as an excuse to fire Charlie and talk bad about him in public without telling us what caused the response, makes me not give a damn about the response, because if they won’t tell us why Charlie said it, than it is because it was an appropriate response.
Taahm in its prime the show from Season 1 to Season 4 used to be about two brothers and how their differentating personalities and their opposing veiws on raising Jake, Charlie now feeling guilty for not being their for Alan when they were younger trys to make an impact on Jake. Jake impacts on Charlie too, it used to be so character driven. It has now completly changed, as much as im warming to Waldan its lost its authenticity, Season 1 was ten years ago its still funny Taahm is timeless.
Charlie Sheen was so perfect for this role and I enjoyed his performances many, many times. I still find it so sad Mr. Sheen allowed drugs and a disreputable life style to cause him so much physical harm, mental anguish and pain. Good luck Mr. Sheen I hope you are able to recover.
