SW winds , 40KNm to Bermagui, -- Sounds like a dream run . Thank you so much for this Video Norm. My Cat would go in there so easily and the family could come down from Sydney and hang out . Heaven.
Geez Norm u could of swum to shore u were that close🤣👍That house will be there for yrs, she's made of good Aussie hardwood. Why do people have to ruin things, like u said Norm, some people need!!!!
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes absolutely, that's exactly the retirement spot I'm looking for, place for the boat, quiet, fishing at the back door, magic summer's, stunning winters. Be interesting research to find out who the previous owner is. Anyway thanks, really enjoyed the vlog. U Got guts coming across Bass Strait by yourself, don't do it again. 🤗😎
Been following you for a while Norm. You always give good info about the places you visit. We have our own boat now, a 40 ft motor cruiser berthed in Airlie at the moment but we will be heading south soon. Might see you around since you are heading north.
hey Norm, is that a RAN crest you have on the wall near the telly ?? I served on the Melbourne (long time decomissioned), Albatross, 817 squadron , Harman and Cerberus. cheers Frank
Yep Allan. P.A draws 0.8, but think I was in 2m most of the time. can't remember if the tides were neeping or springing. Great spot dude. And save the Eden shuffle.
You’re getting better at editing Norm! Coming together nicely. Can i ask? What is the black fender material around your dinghy? And what did you use inside of it. Looks really effective! Cheers Steve
Good onya Norm beats sitting in front of tv or clubs all day - you’re an inspiration 😊
Thanks Dude

Can’t agree more on your comment on fishing’s group rubbish on the beach etc ..
Yep. They should be the best at looking after their rubbish.
Fishos do the same thing everywhere, a lot of them are very grubby sadly
Ness the Quilter / knitter was admiring the key board and glasses case, a very nice touch Norm
Thanks dude.
You missed a visit to the historic Davidson whaling station.
Yeah Dude. But covered it in a video on the way south. It's worth a look.
Did you ever go into Merimbula, I’d like to see someone try that shallow bar before I do 😀
I'll keep it mind.

It is Frank from the Melville. I took some of the sailors on a trip up the river while they had leave in Bundaberg. Was a big day.
Hi Norm, nice video as always, what depth is in Kiah inlet the chart shows 0.6, but Peggy Ann draws more than that
Yep Allan. P.A draws 0.8, but think I was in 2m most of the time. can't remember if the tides were neeping or springing.

Hey where do I get a couple of those 'Stay out there til you cant' shirts
Yeah Dude,
Just visit the shop at the bottom of the channel page make a selection and order online.
Think you'd look good in one🙂
Hey Norm, what’s the limit on how close you can get the the navy ship.
It was 500m but think they have changed it. They clear everyone out of the anchorage when a ship is loading.
Makes sense.. thanks Norm, keep up the vids mate.
Lived in Eden for three years in the mid 80's unfortunately they've pulled down the Fisherman's club
Pulled down a lot around the harbour.

Thanks Dude.
The fender is some sort of rubbery plastic. Got it from a plastic supply mob at Southport. Inside is just outdoor carpet.
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes thanks for the reply!
Great video Norm.
Thank you Peter.
