- I need about 250 miles before my 1,000 service, so I went out for a short ride. Then, I started thinking about all the upgrades I want to do to Big Red!

Seat first, then figure out bars. Ride safe and enjoy.
Sometimes you just gotta pull off and let slower traffic get way ahead of you then enjoy the curves.
yeah, I was going to do that...next time.
Yep that’s the best thing to do if you can’t get away around and like I always say some has to remind themselves for trucks are working and can’t go as fast especially in curvy roads
Get the seat first and then the bars because your sitting position may alter your bar choice. Also Harley had a recall notice in regard to the rear stoplights working intermittently and needs to have the ecu flashed with a software update to remedy the issue. It’s free to have done but only at a HD dealership.
Oh, didn't know about the recall...when was that issued?
November 2, 2022. Harley Davidson Recall No. 0635. NHTSA recall No. 22V781,
I went with KST custom bars because they are adjustable. For seats, we went with Mustang but my wife and I crush miles.
KST Custom is right down road from me great people.
Don't thankthat true on different color never heard that . I was use the hd synthetic oil and the hd gear oil in trans and primary. But I change over to Amsoil in all 3holes now
85° and sunny here in North Texas. I bet that vest comes in handy. Love the ride by the way, my 04 Dyna wide glide was the same color.
thx for watching!
@@destinationh-d1 you got it!👊🏻
Yea do seat before bars if you plan on changing the seat and please always remember trucks are working no matter what they are hauling trust me a lot of them would rather be going faster than you but they can’t without turning over in curves
I know...I always seem to get stuck behind them!
@@destinationh-d1 yep always something no doubt
Upshift!
not sure what you mean.
2-3k rpms is just fine for cruising. Anything lower and you're just lugging the engine which is bad because your oil isn't getting distributed properly. So yah, I don't know what your talking about either.
