If you go with the 12 inch you won’t have to change your cables. That’s what I did. I love it. I got a 2021 street glide

hi, I like your vid. I have a 22 SG CVO, I did the Ohlin front cartridges and the rear Ohlin SE shocks, recluse radius clutch, star compensator, and a few other minor mods. I am now thinking of a cam and cam chest upgrade. I was going for the S&S 475, but have see tune issues and choppy rideability at low RPM. i will probably go with the star 30 30,,,the CM 480MT is a good one also. I am in the pittsburgh PA area.

As far as getting them bolts in, it's like my grandpappy always said, "Ya just gotta hold your tongue right." 😂 Ride safe.

I've never been a clockwerks fan. I recently tried on my 23cvo road glide. I didn't like it at all. Same thing. Too much wind and noise. They were really great about letting me return it. I just got the new Freedom shield and I really like this one a lot. More of a conventional shape and I think that helps the wind a lot. Good luck with your upgrades.

Great items but to pricey

Sometimes, helmet style takes a role in buffeting. I have heal shifter on both bikes and dont really use them. It gets in the way if i ever want to stand up for a minute to stretch. Also, get seat first, then think about what size bars you want.

They work for about 5 minutes then theyre just smothering.

Look at KST Spearhead bars they are meat hooks but you can adjust them they way you want. Completely adjustable you can bring them in or out. Also pull up up or pull them back.

That's why it's called thrashin, so when you look down you can read it.

Are you sure you have the front ones installed correctly? On the Motorcycle Drop Guards website, they show the drop guards being installed much higher up on the mustache bars. Looks like you installed yours considerably lower. Unfortunately their website only shows a picture of this... there's no video to show the proper install method. Their install video only shows the install on the older style crash bars.

If you run 10” bars, you don’t need any extensions.

Yea do seat before bars if you plan on changing the seat and please always remember trucks are working no matter what they are hauling trust me a lot of them would rather be going faster than you but they can’t without turning over in curves

Sometimes you just gotta pull off and let slower traffic get way ahead of you then enjoy the curves.

Get the seat first and then the bars because your sitting position may alter your bar choice. Also Harley had a recall notice in regard to the rear stoplights working intermittently and needs to have the ecu flashed with a software update to remedy the issue. It’s free to have done but only at a HD dealership.

I went with KST custom bars because they are adjustable. For seats, we went with Mustang but my wife and I crush miles.

Get a 23 street glide I didn’t like all the wind noise on the 24 I just bought one 2 weeks ago love it

You need to read your owners manual about when to upshift. Riding in 3rd gear at 70 is hard on the compensator and other components in the drive train. There's a lot of information in the manual. Read it.

You should stick to driving a school bus or something safe. You are a horrible rider. Clutch operation poor and you will never locate neutral until you learn to ride. And you want to lay down a new motorcycle on asphalt?? Why not focus on keeping the bike upright??

I've been running the 6in Freedom Shields on my street glide for 6 months now and I love it. One thing I did was the wind deflector on the lower triple tree. It made the ride better. Also I can hear my music better with that deflector.

I can tell anyone with a fairing style are windshield get fork fangs especially the HD ones even Memphis shades sells plastic ones they work to not as good as the fangs they will change everything

I picked up a fat bob 114 - that m8 motor is good. This low rider st also looks nice to ride. Harley is making some good modern bikes lately. Highly recommend the new softail frame - they handle. But I love the old evos too! Harleys are pretty good, I’m finding.

I thought I wouldn't like the heal toe on my Ultra limited after the toeshifter for 15 yrs. I love the Klock works compared to stock. I'm 5' 8" so weird that you didn't like. May it's my small halfshell? Nice Bike!

Do you think at your height you could get away with a 7" as opposed to the 6" freedom shield. I can't make up my mind on what size to pick. I know you can send them back but would like to pick it correctly the first time

Why would anyone want to go from toe shifter to heal/toe? As for ape bars the current trend I don't get why you would ant to fly your hands in the wind instead of having them behind the fairing you bought.

You wanna stay in the friction zone on the clutch. Meaning don't let it out all the way.

Did you not realize that there is a simple piece of tape at the bottom you could cut and open the box from there? Not sure why the bottom but I think it's a theft protection deal. Thanks I appreciate the video. I'm trying to figure out the use of my Wireless me right now.
