I’d like to see the before and after comparison of the modifications to your airplane regarding the fuel tanks, rear storage, and ballistic parachute. Thanks for the interesting videos about the Skyranger Nynja!
HNY Nick and Anna....here's to another fabulous year of flying, thanks for taking me along on a memory lane of when I owned my Skyranger....Charity flights sound a great idea 👌
New subscriber here 👋 I came from Stef's channel! It's great to see some UK based aviation RUclipsrs, especially North West based! I'm hoping to get up in the air very soon for my first lesson! Any tips and tricks for new flyers going for their PPL would be great to see! ☺️
Oh wow! Thanks for tuning in! Yes - it was super kind of him to plug my channel like that and a big surprise that he’s been watching my content too. He’s a really nice guy and one of the best aviation YT channels out there for sure!
Hello Nik. I'd be interested to see your pre flight airframe checks and also what checks you do before you enter and once you are in the circuit. I'd also like to see more of the wing camera view during your round out and hold off please. Thank you for all of your videos.
Hi Barry. That sums that flight up nicely I think - blowing the cobwebs off me and the plane ready for a new year of adventure. Thanks for your continued support with the channel 🙏
Great to see you and IIX out and about. Charity flights 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Been watching a while and drive past on the M56 often. Im just over east side of Mcr in Hyde.
Thanks for watching! I will do an update on this soon as it would be good to get something sorted out. Would be good to do it at Barton but they need to play ball with the landing fees as £18 per landing from a charity flight isn’t going to cut it 🤣. I’ll have to see if I can negotiate!
Awesome, thank you. I've been following for many years. Share whatever you want, it's your life man. Was good to see Stephan's shout out, have followed him for many years also. Happy New Year!
Good move on the parachute. Might save the day if anything folded from stress God forbid but it can happen. Rather have one than not and bring the entire aircraft down. Here's to a great 2024 in business and pleasure too. Be well.
Many thanks! I am glad you enjoy them. I thoroughly enjoy making them and reading all of the wonderful comments, so thank you for taking the time to leave one!
Happy new year to you too! Thanks for sticking with me - always a pleasure to see you in the comments. I will be there at some point soon I'm sure. Drop me a message on Facebook and I'll let you know next time I am going.
I would love to - thanks for the kind invite! I really like it there - everyone is extremely friendly and they always seem to have some good banter in the tower too!
Hi. Another new subscriber from Steph’s Australian channel. Just booked my first flying lesson and hoping to do my NPPL in a Nynja. Seeing how it is all done! Thanks for sharing.
Welcome aboard! Stefan really looked after me there didn’t he. One of the nicest guys on RUclips for sure. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you giving my videos a try!
Happy new year to you and of course the lovely Anna. Always great to see your videos. I hope you have a happy aviating 2024. Your love of aviation is obvious from your videos and that has to be reassuring for your customers.
Hi Nick, Happy new year. I have been watching your channel since i started my training and have found it very helpful. Close to my first solo in a C42. Would definitely be up for a charity flight and look forward to more great videos this year. Keep it up.
Hey, thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I am really pleased you enjoy my videos. I thoroughly enjoy making them. Good luck with your first solo! I still remember mine to this day - it is an incredible experience. Soak it all in and enjoy it!
I'm glad! Too many of those horrid "non flying days" of late! I'd probably do well scrapping the wing tanks and buying a set of floats if its going to rain any more 😅
Thanks Phil! I definitely want to get something sorted so keep your eye on the channel. Would be great if I could give something back and raise some money for charity as well. Thanks for your support 🙏
been watching your vids for a while now and you helped me decide to just go for it, so thank you. And i am working on getting my own NPPL. Did my first hands on landing with my instructor last week in a Ninja. We are based in the North West of NI and we didn't get a lot of flying time due to the rain towards the end of the year! Hoping to get my license and buy into the clubs syndicate :D I am tempted to buy my own tho :P If you ever have time you should fly in NI we have a field called tandragee airfield. They say if you can land there you can land anywhere
Oh wow that’s so great to hear! Congratulations! Honestly you won’t look back. It’s the best thing I ever did! Syndicates are a great way of getting airborne and keeping the cost down. I’d love to cross over the pond if I can convince Anna the engine is very unlikely to fail over the water 🤣
Hi Nick. It would be great to see more on the maintenance/tech side and generally ground-based stuff. The trip vlogs are great and I enjoy them but it would be really good to have a mix of other stuff too (perhaps including more content on the ground at your various destinations, although I know you may not want to point cameras at people all the time!). Best wishes to you for 2024 - keep up the great work. 🙂
Noted! I will absolutely do more of that this year. I plan to post a more mixed type of content this year to appeal to more people. I really appreciate the feedback - thank you for contributing and thanks for tuning in! 🙂
@@LetsGoFlyingMy pleasure! I'm currently learning (flex but I fancy 3 axis in the future too) at Darley Moor. Hope to catch you at some event or other this year. 👍
Thank you! I will definitely be heading that way soon. Cromer is top of my list for camping when it gets warm enough so I’ll definitely pop in en route. Thanks for watching!
Thank you - I’ll never forget flying past Blackpool Tower! Such a crazy sight from the air as well! Thanks for watching, I’ll get a day or two in the diary for the charity flights when this weather sorts itself out!
About 4800 gives me about 90-95 IAS usually but in the height of summer a tad less. 5200 gives me about 108kts which is as hard as I would run the engine continuously and only if I was in a mega rush! I think I’ve only done that twice. Once when Anna needed a wee en route to Caernarfon 🤭 and another time racing to get back before sunset!
@fishnchips3517 - Come on, that's a bit harsh? I hate sponsorship and commercialism in YT vids but felt this was more of just a background to his day job. It's not like it was an 8 minute long irrelevent insert in the video. Must be tiring being that judgy.

I like the videos you do very much. Would be nice to see to see some of the instruments demonstrated
Thanks so much Chris! I’ll add it to the list and I’ll do another walk around the plane showing all the instruments and controls very soon 😊
Looking forward for vids in the future have fun 🎉 happy new year
Thank you! Happy New Year to you too!
HNY Nick, I’d be interested in a video on charity flights. It’s something I’d be interested in doing for people in my Gyro at some stage 😊
It’s a great way of giving something back and also sharing flight with people. Win win!

Hi Nick. Can you tell me where I can get a Rotax engine serviced please?
😊
Depends where you are based. A google search will help you find what you are looking for. Make sure they have the Rotax IRMT approval!
@@LetsGoFlying Thanks Nick. Based at Popham. I think Airbourne Aviation service them, but will check. :)
Hi Nick, is G-NIIX fitted with the 80hp UL or the 100hp ULS engine?
100hp and an "E-Prop" which I think is a lovely propeller with fantastic performance
@@LetsGoFlying - No wonder your plane climbs like a rocket; the light wait of the Nynja frame and 100 horsies at play!

Do you have the 80hp or 100hp ROTAX 912 engine in your Nynja? A 14 liter per hour fuel burn for normal cruise is some very economical flying.
Hi Nick, What engine RPM are using for a cruise speed of 85-90 kts?
About 4800 gives me about 90-95 IAS usually but in the height of summer a tad less. 5200 gives me about 108kts which is as hard as I would run the engine continuously and only if I was in a mega rush!
