Oh my gosh! I always thought that the straight wigs would be the prettiest but you sure proved me wrong! I love your videos and will always be glad i was one of the first 1000 subscribers :)
Looks wonderful, so well done! Thanks for sharing! A while after watching your yarn weft video I made my first doll wig in this manner, and it worked incredibly well. ^-^ Apart from the brushing out, the fibre is so much easier to handle than the synthetic doll/extensions hair I also have.
I've been wanting to make a doll wig with a part, fringe and some curl, you've demonstrated everything I've wanted to know between your various vids, thanks so much!
Hey Mozekyto! 1. Delightful video and SUPER useful. 2. Someone using the name Eduardo Nguyen reuploaded this video and I wanted to let you know instead of reporting them because I didn't want to impose Anyway keep up the good work!!
I'm sure I wasn't the only one that thought about Rose Quartz, haha! So beautiful! I loved this tutorial. I hope I can customize my own dolls in the future. ❤❤❤
Ahh, thanks so much for sharing the "Yarn wig making" secrets x3 Up until i stumbled upon one of your other yarn wig making videos, i had no clue that you could use yarn for making wigs. You pretty much saved a lot of my work-in-progress thrifted dolls, who couldn't go up on the shelf because of their hair, or lack of hair :3 Thanks again :3
shes so adorable. at least now I know how to make curls with the yarn. My only problem is, my wefts are always shorter then what I want. no matter how long I make the yarn sections, brushing it out makes then shorter. your's look so much longer than mine.
The type of yarn you use makes a difference. it's all about the fiber length. Ask the salesperson if you can pull a small section of yarn apart to examine the fiber length, to be sure you're getting what you need. Natural wool yarns might have longer fiber lengths (up to 5" or more) but you'll have to test to be sure.
I found this looking for a way to make kinky, coily curls without using mohair or sheep's wool. This will work! I will just use something like a tiny bamboo skewer to get a tighter curl. THANK YOU so much for sharing this.
Your videos are so helpful! They've made me decide to try doll repainting, as well as dollightful's videos. Since I am waiting for my Mr super clear come in the mail, I've been going through a lot of trial an error with making yarn wefts! If anyone wants to know, I found that when initially making the wefts and glueing them to a plastic surface, I have found that Elmer's school glue worked the best. The Elmer's glue-all ended up being too hard and crunchy, as well as clear Elmer's glue. Elmer's fabric glue was too tacky as well. These are all the glues that I have tried (I know, Elmer's overload). I just thought I'd share!
I have to Say that you really have a creative mind just like making curly hairs wig. It is really difficult to do. I like your work so much and want to see more and more of your videos.💖
Gorgeous! I'm looking to make multiple dolls with curled hair so this is super helpful! I'd love to see a tutorial on really tight curls, sometime. People frequently seem to use unraveled yarn, which just doesn't look quite right for some looks, and curled wefts are usually done with much bigger curls.
I used this technique for a bad of mine (I used tips from the pixie cut tutorial as well as it was a male doll) and this was a lot cheaper and more customizable than a 25-30 dollar synthetic wig. Much thanks :3
YAY! Another wig tutorial! I've been making yarn wigs using your videos for a few weeks now - love them! Keep up the awesome work! :3 edit: I'm making one of these right now! Holy cow they're alot of work but sooooo worth it!
Gorgeous! I love the look. I will try using a multicolor yarn to see what effects I can get, or perhaps I will layer sections of different yarns, because I really like multicolor hair. I know these fluffy round curls are going to look AMAZING!
OMG. Are you Filipino? 🙊 Subscribed! I’ve been watching doll vids and didn’t expect to find a fellow Filipino! I’ve also been wanting to try to give my old dolls makeovers but I’m worried about the tools and supplies not being available near me. Glad I found your channel! 🙌🏼💕
Wow thanks for the wig tutorials they are wonderful and I love the curls they are so pretty and her makeup looks cute fits in perfectly with her hairstyle.
It's so pretty! Mind if I ask what glue you use? It seems to stick on so well when wet, while all glues I attempt to use just result in the wefts falling off because the glue is so liquidy and can't hold them in place while drying.
just wanted to jump in, I thought about the same thing and decided to go with a strong tacky glue. Very firm and seems great for wigs. when I was brushing, cutting and (accidentally) pulling on it, it helps up pretty well. (If someone else answered your question and I'm jumping in the late party, sorry but I just wanted to add own tid-bit.)
wild question! if you wove hair between metal fork prongs would it make a wave like shape maybe? I was trying to think of all the cool hair textures you could get with all sorts of items.. maybe tooth picks for very tight curls?
@mozekyto can you use a rerooting tool on yarn wefts? i prefer my doll hair to be more permanent. also can you do the boil curl method like on Dollightful’s channel on yarn?
Thank you for sharing your amazing yarn secrets!!! All those bouncy curls look so pretty. ❤w❤ ...the ant! lol
You're welcome!😘 LOL he made a quick cameo! 😂😂😂
Dollightful I love your videos!

Awww *squishes you close* 💖💕 Thank you so much for standing by me and my channel from the start!
I'm assuming if you don't want the curls so tight you could brush them out a little. Make them more like waves.
Yup or you can pull it gently! 😉😊
this looks so much easier then the boiling method!!!
Awww. So pretty. What patience you have. I love your videos I cannot stop watching. What a talented lady.
Ahhh those curls are so delicate and beautiful! (plus the color is soooo cute!) Thank you for sharing! I started making my own bjd wigs because of you
Awww I'm super glad to hear that!💖💕 And you're welcome!😘

OMG Yay! I'm super glad to hear that! 💕
I can't imagine doing this myself XD I'd do it for a hour then I'd be lazy or hungry, then forget about it and never finish it x3
Very informative and i'm going to try it on my next wig! Also I laughed at the "hi ant". I barely caught it the first time lol.
Yay! Goodluck! And hooray mr, ant got recognized!!😂😂😂
I've been wanting to make a doll wig with a part, fringe and some curl, you've demonstrated everything I've wanted to know between your various vids, thanks so much!

Make the yarn sections a lot longer then you actually want or need them to be

@@Marialla. thanks for sharing this! I've been getting cheap asf acrylic yarn until now and this explains the differences lol!
Also use a wire pet brush with beaded ends
idk why but your wig videos are so relaxing and satisfying for me, and so much fun to watch.
Amazing. The texture looks perfect for this scale!
This was how I made curls! I was experimenting as I was quite new to doll customs, but they work really well!
Wow!! I don't know how i ended up here, but i am glad! Lovely work!! 😍
Each curl brings me so much joy

This wig is so pretty, may I ask what kind of glue do You use to glue the wefts to the cap ? elmers ?
oooh this gives me inspiration for a rose quartz themed wig
that looks so beautiful, I'm in love
Wow! I never imagine that with a ball of yarn you can make a wig for doll... I have planty of that yarns maybe I'll try!
Beautiful work of art
Thank you!!! Very beautiful!!! I’m going to try this method for my PashaPasha wig. ❤️✨❤️
You can make tinier curls this way with metal tapestry needles. I made a polymer clay handle for one needle and it works as a mini curling iron
Is a very beautiful style. Thanks for continuing with your channel ... greetings from mexico
I'm so happy you're making more videos :) So beautiful
Yo I'd be super interested if you were to make a pixie cut wig tutorial
Haven't tried making one but sure I'll try to learn and share the process!😉
That was amazing! I've only one question (and propably you explain it in another video I can not find): how do you make the base for the wig?
Pretty! I'm not allowed to use the flat iron but I'll find another way
Goodluck sweetie and no matter what be careful!😊
DollNerd try hot water that might work
this is amazing! any method I could use that doesn't involve a flatting iron?
🐱Your such an inspirational person!!!🐱
It looks amazing 😍 What type of cloth do you put on the doll’s head?
l love your tutorials 😃. Thank you 😃
You're welcome! And thank you!💖
Wow! That’s exactly what I need for my doll!💗 Thank you, you are amazing 😍💕

So informative and cute! Thank you!
You're welcome!😉
You are so skilled
Gorgeous! What type of glue did you use to put the wefts on the cap?
wild question! if you wove hair between metal fork prongs would it make a wave like shape maybe? I was trying to think of all the cool hair textures you could get with all sorts of items.. maybe tooth picks for very tight curls?
If you'd heat up a knitting needle would that work too? As a kind of curling iron?
Nynxs I think so, but this method is probably best.
@mozekyto can you use a rerooting tool on yarn wefts? i prefer my doll hair to be more permanent. also can you do the boil curl method like on Dollightful’s channel on yarn?
What kind of wool did you use for this project? It's shining soo nice and the light pink is so adorable
hey thank you so much for this tutorial! is there any alternative to using a hair iron?
Thx for sharing the secret :D Love it
Just a wondering: What kind of white glue is it and is it the same one, you used for the wig?
For tight curls I heat a metal skewer on a candle, let it cool for like 3seconds and twist the hair round it
