Beware playing the Kraken scenario on a large board. If it chooses to run off in one direction in particular, it can be very hard for the side furthest away to engage it, especially if the fleets are large as the closer one will likely score max points every turn. The Vortex or In Hot Water scenarios are similar in encouraging carnage but without the risk of the objective going AWOL. Great report as always :)
Really enjoyed that game. Thanks. As mentioned already, you can not reduce speed and anchor in that turn. You must go from Steady to Anchored but still make one move step before coming to a halt.
Great report as always! Thanks! Just a minor rules thing - Indirect Weapon damage is not doubled in close range :)
Glad you enjoyed it.
Thanks for pointing that out - I'll let Rob know 🙂

So Tom is mad and thought about this.
He wants to use one large "mouth" in the middle and have multiple Krakens in play at once as tentacles
@@TomsTabletopBunker Mad? That’s an odd way of saying “genius”.

Thanks Jon.
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Great game, and nice to see the new NA / Varangur fleet. A four player game sounds epic!
Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Excellent report chaps 👏👏👍
Thankyou 🙂
We're back with more Armada action.
Those new to the game - welcome.
Next time field the Varangur vs the Orcs, THAT's going to give some EPIC boarding actions 😛
Axe on Axe action
@@TomsTabletopBunker The BEST action 😀
When you anchor you still have to make one move step cause no ship can come to an instant stop unless specified otherwise
Thanks for letting us know I'll let Rob know yes a massive cheat 😉
We often make mistakes in our haze of enjoying volleying each other 🤣
