I’m 62 husband receives ssdi. Would I receive 50% of his ssdi benefits or do I need to file for retirement and receive payments from his retirement or ssdi? My income does not qualify me. I didn’t work enough years. Thank you.

if your full retirement (at aged 67) eligible amount is less than half of your husband's current ssdi amount, you'd be granted the 50% of his ssdi, according to my personal experience.

Social Security benefits is different than SSI benefits you better go to Social Security office and ask about your son if he is this able he might be qualify for benefits.

He can be placed on child support.. that's a lie. What will happen is whatever he gets your child support will be taking out of his ssi check. If he getting $794 it will come from that

This is embarrassing but I have been married to my husband thirteen years. He has been disabled for 20. During a separation I became pregnant with another mans baby. My husband and I decided to continue our marriage and now raise our beautiful daughter together. We receive benefits for our other daughter who is biologically my husbands but is it true that we could receive benefits to help in raising our new little one. Is this an accurate assumption?
