Both knobs in, monden humbuckers. Tone knob out (alone), vintage humbuckers. Volume knob out (alone) Cali Single Coils. Both knobs out, vintage single coil. Long story short, tone knob is modern vs vintage. Volume knob is humbucker vs single coil.
Thank you so much for taking the time to breakdown the guitar, and explaining it. I've ordered one and I'm waiting for it to come in. Btw, love the control you have on that right hand. You're an inspiration.
I just bought one of these. It's on back order. I do have a Gibson Explorer, and yes, the G and B strings will not stay in tune for anything. I'm putting locking tuners on it so we'll see if that helps. Hopefully the Epi. does a better job staying in tune.
Have you tried it on a strap? Is it neck-heavy? I've got an old epi explorer goth which had the strap button at the exact same place and it was annoyingly neck-heavy, so I moved the button next to the neck joint, like it is placed on the original gibson, and solved the problem. In this one though, the neck joint is quite different and I'm not sure if it is safe to drill and place the button over there.
Best purchase I’ve made in a long time! Thank you all!
Our pleasure!

None of the reviewers pointed out the different single coils, that is pretty damn crazy, lots of tones.

Rock on!
Somehow I just saw this. Thank you a ton! I really appreciate it!
Just got my Epiphone Limited Edition Brendon Small Ghosthorse Explorer yesterday...could not be happier with it!
Would’ve been nice to hear it! 🙄

one is paf sound the other is cali style single coil sound each one controls both pickups at once only the les paul has the individual pickup control
how much?
899
What amp ? :)
The neck binding on mine was shit
Also the pickups are fishman copies
Those are not copies of fishman lol, fishman custom voiced those pups for this specific line of guitars.
@@mattlombardi54 thank you for clarifying this ^ lmao
No case and plastic tune knobs for over 900.00? No thanks.
Grover locking tuners and mine from guitar center came with a case(it was used).
Too much talking. Maybe you could find somebody to play it thru a quality amp for more that 30 seconds.
Less talk more play please.
