Hey there, Zsolt! 🚀 Thanks for sharing all these amazing features and hidden gems in Exol Obsidian. It's mind-blowing how versatile this tool can be, especially with the script library and the ability to customize pens and colors. The OCR support is a game-changer, and I appreciate the detailed walkthrough you provided. The text shadow and text outline tricks are a nice touch for adding that extra flair to your designs. Your explanations are always so clear and helpful, making it easy for us to explore and make the most of excali draw Obsidian. Keep up the fantastic work, Zsolt! Looking forward to more of your awesome content. 👏🎉
Thank you so much for all the hard work and value you brought to the community. Can you please do a video about research papers for academic writing with thanks. It would be a nice idea for your new video but also very helpful for the PhD community too. Good day!
Thanks for the suggestion! The challenge is that I don't write academic papers... All my videos are based on my real world practice/experience. I lack that in case of academic writing.
Impressive work, Zsolt! Your dedication in creating and assisting us is truly appreciated. Given the extensive details you've provided in each section, I'm thinking it would be beneficial to generate an index file. This will make it easier to quickly locate information, such as instructions for "Deleting an image," whether it's in video or text format. My plan is to utilize NOTEGPT to extract and organize text containing those specific keywords. Do you have any alternative suggestions?
Hey! I'd love to have font control by number for every font component next to standard xs-xl button as pixel control to set line width. Maybe I am missing some plugins and those things are already there but if not I would really appreciate that!
Hey, about your visual thinking workshop do you talk about how to make zettlekasten notes and overall how to build a good pkm? Or is it just learning how to summarise books with excalidraw? I’m thinking about buying because I respect your work thank you for all the time you have spent teaching others about pkm.
Thank you for your interest in the Workshop! To answer you question in one word: Absolutely! The VTW grew out of this concept: x.com/zsviczian/status/1511442582882201609?s=20 I believe that the most effective way to learn is by getting our hands dirty. The workshop takes you through the complete journey of reading a book, capturing notes, creating visuals for key ideas, organizing those visuals into a story you can tell others, and storing those visuals in your ZK system. The workshop consists of sessions and office hours. The sessions lead you through a structured curriculum while the office hours are driven by participant questions. We covered many topics from my GTD scripts,ExcaliBrain ontology, ExcalidrawAutomate scripting, to Zettelkasten and many others. Check the curriculum here: www.visual-thinking-workshop.com/
@@VisualPKM hi again, I tried to purchase the workshop but it says my card has insufficient funds even though I have more than 600 dollars on that debit card
@@crispywings9066hm... not sure what to do. I can indeed see on the Stripe dashboard a transaction that failed due to insufficient funds. Maybe you have a single transaction spend limit or a daily limit that needs to be adjusted and Stripe is simply displaying the wrong error message?
@@VisualPKMI live in Australia and I read somewhere that stripe payments can be declined if the merchants stripe account is in a different country than the card holders country. Could that possibly be the problem? Also is there anyway you could accept the payment at your end?
@@crispywings9066 I've seen 3 failed payment attempts (I am guessing from you). I sent an email to the address on the payment - I recommend taking this conversation offline to email - or if you are on any of the Obsidian OMG or the Visual Thinking Workshop Discord servers you can DM me @zsviczian
if you hold down shift then Excalidraw will jump by units of 15 degrees. If you need more, creating an Excalidraw script that jumps to a specific angle is pretty simple.
Zsolt, thank you so much for all the incredible things that you share to the community!
This is a must watch video for all obsidian users ❤
Thank a lot sir❤
I could use the plugin for months and months and probably not be able to figure out these functions. Thank you for publishing this great video

is there a way to draw specific angles degrees for Geometry
- I use excalidraw for math a lot, especially for Trigonometry classes
