Black belt barrister didn't explain this though.. "'Legal tender' means that if a debtor pays in legal tender the exact amount they owe under the terms of a contract, they have a good defence in law if they are subsequently sued for non-payment of the debt." I paid the exact amount I owed under the terms of the contract. Black belt barrister only discussed paying into court as a defence which is a different scenario.
As others have said, Brad seemed like a nice guy and was only following (uninformed directions from another minion somewhere slightly higher up the food chain), but essentially the point that he was raising is that a £100 coin is TOO big a denomination for his company to accept. Their issue, NOT Julian's. Awww, one day Brad might discover that there was a time when a farthing (1/4d in OLD money - NOT 1/4p in 'new' money), and then 1/2d in old money were discontinued because they were TOO small a denomination. Perhaps, one day, if due to the efforts of Julian and others actual cash money still exists, maybe a £100 coin will be as common place as £20 note is today. Excellent video Julian and thanks for all that you do for us. Regards Mark in the UK
Good on you Sir. I’ve experienced something similar to this when I’ve exchanged my fiat for a One Ounce Silver Britannia which is Legal Tender of £2. They have given me misinformation in the past and tried to state that you can’t ‘spend’ it and that it is for Collectible and Ornamental Purposes ONLY. Utter BS!
Great interaction and interesting they're saying they can't bank them, given the co-op bank exists. The bit about too much in the till was nonsense, there could be too much every few transactions if people are paying with notes
I like this Brett... He knows it is a balls ache for retailers BUT it is a matter of principle. The solution is for the Royal Mint to shit on their own doorstep and declare these 'coin' invalid for legal tender purposes. The fact that the Royal Mint say that retailers are unlikely to accept them does not currently make the 'coins' any less legal tender. If the Royal Mint decides these coins are no longer legal tender then they will not be able to denote the various coins with any kind of value because if they do it would be a deception and a fraud... oh and no bastard would bother buying them! What would be the point? I also like this because I believe that at some point in the near future our so called masters and overlords will attempt to remove physical cash i.e. notes and coins from circulation and instead impose a digital currency upon us which will give these evil bastards total control over us. well I and I know plenty of other people too who will use other forms of payment to circumvent the use of their bloody CBDC! So, precious metals... PMG platinum, gold ,silver will have a value. Copper will have a value. Other commodities will have a value. These will all be used to circumvent all this shit controlled currency. Will it be a balls ache for us... probably but oh the joy when I know their bloody tax revenue will go down. For those that say, "It cannot be done"... well I've already done it! I've paid for boilers to be serviced with gold and silver coinage and the same with paying for plastering work and a building job. Eventually more and more people would adopt different payment methods. I am not totally against 'digital currency' in the form of Defi... decentralised finance options such as Bitcoin... as long as it stays decentralised. Of course the masters and overlords don't like it and will do their best to criminalise it... destroy it. Why do you think that SVB was brought down recently? could it be that it was heavily involved in cryptocurrency? Not a conspiracy theory but FACT. Keep the videos coming Brett... I do like it when Plod gets involved because they nine times out of ten have no idea about the Law or the matter of coinage of the realm and it's use within that realm.

Nice work , yeah Brad was sound , just uneducated in the aspect of currency. Not his fault either . It’s the system that’s at fault as because silver and gold is real money . The Bank of England print money because it’s easier and cheaper to print and process and they can ‘print’ to suit the economy. You can’t just go out and magic some gold and silver . To be fair I wasn’t aware of anything like this until I was introduced into silver and gold maybe 6 months ago . My knowledge has expanded quite considerably thanks to stacking channels and sites like yours . Won’t be long before more people accept this and the bartering for payment once the CBDC’s kick in and BRICS and crypto wipe the dollars back side . For this reason you get my subscription.
If only the cashiers or managers had the brains to buy these coins from the till and sell them on Ebay for a profit. I would be very happy if a customer wanted to pay with silver or gold coins for the fuel :D

Ridiculous annoying these workers, there is zero reason they should know about the legality of your daft coins. LEave them alone and hassle people who derserve it i.e. the police. Leave ordinary folk alone.
He knows Black belt Barrister explained it
He's a frauditor in it for clicks
@@jogon331 Ahh thanks, yeh had that ring to it.
They are not my daft coins, they are the Queens, along with her daft plastic notes and plated steel coins. I'm assuming you back the bankers digital currency and you are totally happy with the system we live under? If so you are part of the problem.
Black belt barrister didn't explain this though.. "'Legal tender' means that if a debtor pays in legal tender the exact amount they owe under the terms of a contract, they have a good defence in law if they are subsequently sued for non-payment of the debt."
I paid the exact amount I owed under the terms of the contract. Black belt barrister only discussed paying into court as a defence which is a different scenario.
@@jogon331 TOODLE PIP now little one... I can't be bothered arguing with you all day... FOXTROT OSCAR you little toad! 🤣😂🤣😂
That window close 😀, you were getting on so well
Well he's seen one now! And how about the oil and gas companies bring down the inflated fuel prices; out of 'Courtesy' 🤔🤔
Just tell her that your friend with Michael Ryan they soon leave you alone
I though is gringer fuzzy head was going to have a melt down.
Common courtesy could also be to put on the pump what you don't accept.
Pay council tax with them.
"check out the big brain on Brad"
Nice history lesson 😮😢😢
Utter BS!
good to see you Julian, Excellent ending as well lol
Great interaction and interesting they're saying they can't bank them, given the co-op bank exists. The bit about too much in the till was nonsense, there could be too much every few transactions if people are paying with notes
Great Video.
Not easier to pay with card when u go in and they say the card machine is not working...might be legal tender elsewhere 😂
JUST BECAUSE U HAVENT SEEN IT DOESENT MAKE IT NOT EXIST MO RO N
Another good job well done
c'mon brad just do ur job
Excellent Video - Great Co Star.
Great comment 👍💯% agree ❤ Greshams law is that "bad money drives out good." I choose not to discuss the topic, but for those interested...

Welcome
If only the cashiers or managers had the brains to buy these coins from the till and sell them on Ebay for a profit.
I would be very happy if a customer wanted to pay with silver or gold coins for the fuel :D
They sell for less than £100 on eBay.
Nice 👌🫡
Great to see you back Julian!....Brad was a decent guy to be honest he just doesn’t understand the law but he was willing to listen & go into dialogue with you.
lol
haha nice
1:58 Julian: "They are legal tender".
2:00 Shop Boy: "They're not though".
2:07 Shop Boy: "I've just looked it up online and they're collectables".
2:18 Julian: "Where are you going to show me they're not legal tender?".
2:21 Shop Boy: "Well, because my boss told me they're not".
So within seconds he just got recorded contradicting himself and lying.
Good job bud. Brilliant work.
I would have thought by now they would be on to you and have signs up at the pump, but instead they keep falling for it :)
Well done buddy
Ive had a similar problem once when i had been given a£50 note soooo many places refused to accept it that it was taken to the bank to be exchanged for smaller notes
Be great to have a £50 note refused at the petrol station and then give them a £50 coin. Bet they would say the note is ok after all. Too late!! That ship has sailed.
That's ridiculous. Because there are fakes going around and their staff haven't been trained the run their finger across "Bank Of England" that's raised everyone has to suffer. Legal tender is legal tender. I wouldn't put up with that BS without making them feel like idiots.
A gas station that cant have £100 in the till lol, bloke was talking bollocks.
