Excellent excellent podcast guys. Never heard her speak in this long format before. She is awesome
Also, easy on the ears.
She's a WEF stooge. She is not awesome, she is part of the problem. So is Dan Crenshaw. The wolves in sheep's clothing.
She is awesome 👌 😊
Dave Barry said it best. Giving politicians power and money. Is like giving teenagers whiskey and car keys.
In Texas we are constantly reminded that the only thing worse than a politician is a child molester. And that those two things often go hand in hand - no pun intended.
"Dave Barry's Guide to Guys," is a must read if you get your hands on a copy.

Glad to see and hear this. Because using "Democracy to justify authoritarian and censorship actions upon the people" should be considered a form of high treason.
Thank you for your service, both of you! Thank you for a great interview
Great interview! Great dynamic between both. Letting each other finish their sentences and moving from one topic to the next fluently!
I'm glad to see Tulsi Gabbard changing/adjusting her views on 2A! We can all learn a lesson from her: inform yourself, talk to different ppl and adjust your views if the new information warrants it!👏
Jack and Tulsi, thank you both for this extraordinary discussion. Hand salute to you both.
Very very thought provoking. Once upon a time, when I served in the Corps, it was said a Marine does not relinquish his weapon to anybody. As a soldier of Christ your life may be required of you today unselfishly. So one can do the right thing and live it out. Being free may be a right to die for it right now. Youth is such a wonderful thing to bad it’s wasted on young kids. Keep up the good work it’s all worth it.
Wonderful interview!
Tulse you've won me over.
Enjoyed the podcast! I have admired Tulsi Gabbard since I first saw her early interviews on Fox News. I was encouraged by your in depth podcast interview with her. I am encouraged by her narrative and political stance. I just hope she walks the walk and it’s not just talk!
Keep up the good work!
Jack, do you believe she's truly had a change of heart on her more progressive 2A stances or is it an act? As late as 2018, in addition to numerous bills she's supported, she posted on twitter: "I’ve cosponsored bills to close the gun show loophole, ban assault weapons, require background checks on anyone seeking to purchase a gun & more" and was still pushing the progressive agenda on guns (and green energy too). I really like her, i guess what i am asking, do you think her change of heart towards conservatism is real or she just trying to find a new party to win with?
Is is a Grift. Do not fall for it.
Why call her a liar ? She is more freedom orentied ,constitutional believer , & A patriot I feel !
Amazing podcast, you two are 💯
Great interview Jack. She was the Democratic party’s best candidate in 20. I wished you had asked her about her public support of Biden when he was given the nomination. Does she regret that? Does she admit that was a mistake? You have to ask the tough questions even when the interviewee is as charming as Tulsi.
Totally agree. ruclips.net/video/ziM4y6iUVMo/видео.html
No ! TULSI is an American first , no ,war. ,no ,Nukes , peace thru strength canditate , to ensure peace & LIFE ! Think about it !
Good stuff - ❤ her!
Great conversation! Thanks to you both.
Such a great conversation. It is sad that in general people are not students of history and dont necessary conduct research and have critical thinking skills and common sense to see through political misinformation or mainstream media biased propaganda. How many people stop to think that every one that signed the declaration of independence signed their death warrant if the war was lost. Thank you for your thoughtful podcasts and your James Reece novels, not to mention your years of service in the military.
This was a fantastic conversation!! THANK YOU for sharing!!
Great conversation!
Great conversation
The courage and integrity of both you inspires me greatly! Hand salute 🫡
Great listen today thank you and never forget 🇺🇸
Very great!
Love dialog like this Jack. Great conversation.
I'll watch this....I want to support her but her history as an anti-2A Dem makes me highly skeptical of her motives....especially if she's associated with the evil WEF....
I don’t know what WEF is.

Good job.
Regardless of political affiliation I truly believe we need Tulsi as President and Jack as our SecDef. I think some important changes would be made for all Americans.
Awesome podcast. Thanks Jack. Good to see and hear Tulsi on the show. Even better to see wiki post a context clarification regarding elections.
Funny they didn't bother to post clarification regarding any of the poignant topics that you and Tulsi brought up in your conversation.
Apparently some things are better left ignored.
Very good conversation. But why have it in the dark?
Bring back America! Vote yes for @TulsiGabbard for president 2024!!!
Fantastic episode! Going to check her new show out for sure. I know there won’t be many more of these until 2023 because of the writing schedule. Thanks for doing this one!
Hey Jack. If the room's cold, why don't you light the wood in the stove; or is it just a prop in your man cave? ... Outstanding discussion of topics at the pinnacle of my concern. ... More Tulsi Gabbard, please.
We all love Tulsi as she is an amazing lady
❤
Thanks for great info interview, SHE’s a Class ACT🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Excellent. This answered some questions I had about Tulsi’s commitment to the Second Amendment and her position on the Patriot Act.
Thank you both and as usual- you’re one of the best podcast hosts on the Internet.
Knowledgeable and common sense people who lived it
Good podcast, really great discussion.
Would like to hear her talk about her past record on gun control laws while in congress.
The context warning on this video is utterly ridiculous.
Outf@#$&in standing!!!!!
such a great interview, and love the hat. Work right down the street from SIG.
What brand of jackets do they mention? Coal? Anyone have a link to em?
I’m cracking up that you start out talking about how cold it is as you sit in front of a wood burning stove. Is it just for looks?
Thank you, both!
Great talk. This is what I try to do and people are not willing to talk anymore.
Tulsi has more common sense than all most anyone currently in power in this county. Hope she runs for office again in the future.
Hearing that she has shifted her stance on the 2A has completely won me over. I’ve always really like what she has stood for, that was just my one hang up. If she runs for national office, she will absolutely have my vote, and I know a lot of people that feel the same way. She is the antithesis of what we currently have in office.
This was going to be my exact comment. I loved so much about her before but could not equal what she said with her stance on the 2A. Now that she has seen the light and has fully explained her past stance and why she believed what she did, I can fully get behind her.
You believe her? I have a bridge to sell you...
@@TheQuickest What’s your reasoning for not believing her?
@@hankf616 Why would anyone believe her given her track record on the topic? She has done NOTHING to deserve any trust in this area. She doesn't hold office, she's just a talking head. The first at bat as a liberal didn't work out, guess it's time to try out for the other side to stay relevant. Being a political pundit pays a lot better than being a reservist.
@@TheQuickest You’re certainly entitled to your mistrust. That being said, she explained why she was a dem to start her political career, and why she switched. She also explained why she initially felt the way she felt about the 2A, and why she had a change of heart. If your default position is to assume everyone is lying and no one can have a change of heart, then so be it. But that is an incredibly myopic way to go about life. I’m curious what political candidates you’ve found that have began their careers with the same thoughts and opinions on all subjects that they ended them with.
I’m glad @tulsigabbard has changed her views on our constitutional rights.
Ah. C what U did there. 😉
XD
Really enjoyed this. Thanks 🙏
what's the name of the Utah company that sold tulsi her jacket that yall talked about?????
Fuxk yeah 👍🇺🇲
This podcast is glowing
Awesome
As the Guns and Gadgets channel pointed out, when Tulsi was a Presidential candidate her website stated plainly that she was in favor of banning "assault weapons" and voted to close the so called " gun show loop hole" as well as other measures. Now she is shooting the same so called "assault weapons" and portraying herself as a 2A supporter. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't, but I wish someone would have the guts to ask and have her explain this 180 degree change in her position.
She explained it on her podcast.
@@johnnymiller3684 And that's a great start, but is she a member of, or working with Gun Owners of America, Firearms Policy Coalition or any national or even a local Hawaiian 2A group? I bet you are. I know I am. Let us know when she is.
Would love to see Ryan Kinel from RK Outpost and Geeks and Gamers as a guest on your great show 🙏
Tulsi Gabbard 2024!
Great to see her on the show.... SUGGESTION - Switch chairs with the guest...Camera angle 1 and 2 for you would be better for the guest, it would feel more like shes speaking to the audience and you. Camera angle 1 and 2 for the guest feels a little distant...or create a similar camera angle 2 for the guest...GREAT podcast - love your books and show!
Cougar in Chief
I enjoyed your conversation and thoughts on the Freedom of Information Act, NSA ('In the Blood' was great by the way!! :) and some concerns about the rise of organizations attempting to cause a 'rift' in society, trying to undermine American patriotism; race wars included. Have you read Brad Taylor's new book 'End of Days'? Super good; I don't want to say to much, but it hits on some very important issues: 'sleeper cells' included. It's hard, like you said, to balance freedom of speech and expression with security. Great podcast, lots of 'food for thought' .... Lisa
Folks, what is the name of the Utah clothes company that they talk about during the first few minutes of today's show?
Tulsi Gabbard should be the republican presidential candidate. She has poise, strength, and common sense.
This is a great guest Jack!
"...have seen the end of war." Correct? I love your work Brother. Thank you.
Yeahhhhh I’m still not sold on her stance on 2A. She’s been extremely anti gun in the past. Wish we could hear her tell her complete and unscripted views. She had 3 bills that will make me very weary of her forever. At the end of the day she’s still a politician.
Always show your kids a Rambo first blood movie followed by the insurrection and what was it all about
Hopefully more Americans are waking up to the fact that neither political party actually cares about the American people and the letter next to a candidates name tell you nothing about the content of their character. Most Americans I know hold a mix of beliefs. The ones that agree with their party 100% on all issues are rooting for a team rather than thinking independently about individual policy issues.
As Thomas Sowell said, there are no solutions, only trade-offs. Based on our individual hierarchy of needs/values we can have honest disagreements over what trade-offs we are willing to accept, rather than painting the other side as evil. Liberals are not the enemy, conservatives are not the enemy, ideologues are the enemy.
There is a reason HRC went out of her way to smear Tulsi, even though Tulsi was polling at the bottom of the pack in the primaries. It's because independent thinkers are a threat to the influence peddling duopoly running our country at the behest of the donor class.
Great podcast! Thanks for what I don't have to know. Especially thanks to intelligence personnel. I'm sorry no one is able to hear of anything other than failures.
My ideal wife -- Tulsi: smart, beautiful, correct politically -- gives me something to shoot for.
James Reece would have been SOL under Tulsi's gun laws.... 🙃
Respect
So her podcast isn’t here???
FREEDOM, WHAT IS THAT !!
Is that not a real wood burning stove? If yall are cold fire that puppy up!!!
James caviziels character James Reece from Person of Interest series would have made a great James Reece. But maybe too old.
I think everyone that runs for public office should be required to take constitution 101 and pass a test to prove that they know what they are swearing to!
Homeschool your kids save the country and the more I hear her ideas and thoughts the more I like what I hear I'm still not fully behind her because her stance on 2A that I've heard but it's also the parents fault from folding to them young then they grow up doing it and noone tells them no getting older so that tantrum working for them starts at home two parents having a mother and father and having rules and keeping to them make stronger kids and ridged adults
I'll admit that I was against home schooling, but when obumble become president I noticed a huge change in public schools. And they have become more radical with indoctrination and kids are becoming a bunch of idiots. Some kids honestly think 2+2=5, but they know everything about the Kardashian family.
Still don't trust Tulsi, but I'll be happy to be proven wrong.
Key takeaways
1. I liked that Gabbard humbly changed her position on 2A. I would have liked a pointed question about the AR-15. I would have greatly appreciated an unequivocal statement; “I was wrong. Americans should be able to own weapons of war to protect their god given rights.”
2. Totally respect Gabbard on her perspective of combat leadership. Great position.
3. Light a fire in the fire place.
AR-15 is not a weapon of war, not even close. If you want to licence fully automatic weapons of war, I can listen to your opinion, but the AR-15 is not that!
@@wilfdarr My sarcasm must have been too subtle. My apologies. The dems have made the term ubiquitous whenever they move to ban them. I just wanted her to take the larger step to address this weapon specifically. But, further, it is my belief that our founding fathers intent on the 2A was specifically and exactly intended to protect weapons that can be used in a war. For them, they wanted to protect muskets, flint locks, swords and cannon.
@@sar4x474 Agreed. HOWEVER, they could not have imagined Chlorine Gas or the fact that I can readily manufacture it in my kitchen, the MG-42 at a time where the Springfield Trapdoor had yet to be invented, or nuclear weapons a century before the Wright Brothers first flight (and they certainly could have never imagined a day when individual citizens like Musk and Bezos could both afford the weapons and own vehicles capable of deploying them)! And to touch on the 1st as well, they could have never imagined the idea that corporations would have such a grip on our freedom of speech.
Now in fairness I can't imagine a system that infringes my right to own weapons, nor a system that tells me what material I as a publisher must publish, but the time has come that we need to be open to the idea that the amendments were by design intended to be further amended to be synchronous with the times, and the way they are currently written simply isn't: the fact that the First amendment says “Congress shall make no law… abridging the freedom of speech,” yet all sorts of laws now exist limiting the freedom of speech, and the Second Amendment says "shall not be infringed", and yet most Americans now accept that infringement to some degree or another is acceptable or even desirable, this undermines and gravely weakens the authority of a document who's authority must be by necessity absolute! As such, the constitution's time as currently written and understood is limited: we can either negotiate and pass a compromised document that captures the realities of our time, or else we'll eventually find that the "text as informed by history", where a history of infringement and curtailment has become the norm, becomes absolutely hollow.
@@wilfdarr the "things should be banned, because they never would have imagined that it would exist" argument is beyond idiotic. With that foolish logic, you no longer have any freedom of speech, unless you use a quill pen and parchment paper. The media has no right to publish any articles, unless they use an ancient press.
They were well aware that technology advances, especially in regards to weapons. So they wanted the people to be able to defend themselves. Shall not be infringed is very simple. Unfortunately, folks like you will always twist it to try to justify tyranny. Truly pathetic.
@@jonanderson4755 We no longer have real free speech SPECIFICALLY because the founding fathers could not imagine Facebook, Twitter, etc. This is specifically why we need a rethink, to return freedom of speech to the people!
What we have currently IS a form of tyranny, and you're OK with it?
What's critical is to have a shared mutual goal and endpoint. We need to realize that classical liberals and conservatives largely have this shared vision, just different roads to get there. The "left" (communist/socialist/progressive/fascist) is something completely different and completely incompatible with the American values of life, liberty, and property/pursuit of happiness. This cannot be tolerated and must be removed.
Love this conversation between two great Americans!
Light that stove if you’re cold!
If it’s cold, light that fire. Great guest. Tulsi is a true American patriot
still cautious ... she was very anti-gun for quite some time ... i donno if i buy into her story yet ....
Ditto: cautiously optimistic...
If you are cold, build a fire in the wood stove in the center of your video!

When you were talking about Pearl Harbor my Grandfather was there and navy for 30 years. My mom was born there the year Pearl Harbor was attacked. They were both members of the Pearly Harbor survivors association. We always Remember Dec 7th the day that will live in infamy.
When Tulsi was still a democrat, during the’20 debates, I recognized the leadership potential she possesses! I hope she is Trump’s VP pick!
Another note, that wood stove would certainly warm things up there!
I think Tulsi will be the Reagan.
100:27 It's not necessarily matter of not knowing what to do: it is more a matter of 'punching the tickets'. They don't care about doing the right thing for the nation; they care about doing the right thing for their career.
101:55 I agree with Tulsi totally as it applies to U.S. military currently. However, it doesn't necessarily apply generally. One outstanding counter example is Japanese military before WW2.
102:33 I don't want to sound pedantic. I do agree with Carr mostly, except one gigantic outlier: Douglas McArthur.
He should have been fired after the Clark field raid.
103:14 IJA/IJN before and during WW2.
106:52 I think there may be more than meets the eyes: Putin is no dummy. He would have anticipated correctly that MIC would have never agreed to the terms.
If you skim through Alexander Dugin's works, even through wiki, his strategic advice to Putin is not to fight the West/their proxies, through conventional war, but through macroeconomic/geopolitical grand strategy.
West is far superior in conventional weapons against Russia, but Russia has oil/gas, and international connections to Latin America, Africa, ME/OPEC, and Asia. Russia should try to fight like Britain had done against Napoleon, by establishing new markets, and black-market trading with EU members, a relentless war of economic attrition.
Another word, Ukraine is merely a bait for the West, with MIC being unwitting accomplices, a gigantic Dien Bien Phu, with the West being the French, and Russia being Ho Chi Minh.
When EU will have enough of economic depression coming, the people in EU will have enough courage to throw out the unelected bureaucrats in Brussels; EU and even NATO might dissolve.
I think that is what Putin is really after.
I will buy your book; How can I say no to Tulsi's recommendation?
Don't want to hear anymore 2nd Tulsi speculation after this, brilliant interview
lol yet another one buys the act...
Yes, blindly believe the politician. Because that has worked so far....
@@TheQuickest yep, as soon as a politician says what these fools want to hear, they support them without question. Society is beyond foolish.
Previously Tulsi was a strong supporter of gun control- so where does she stand on it now? There is a lot to like about her but found it ironic that she leads with going to the FFL when she’s been strong on gun control while under the dems tent. …. Ok she explains this - would like to see her stay strong on this issue!
Jack the people in this country are watching and listening, that said actions speak louder than words. I trust in Jehovah elohijm only, the holy book, that said our constitution comes from the holy book, and we do not need permission from government.
