Outside of the obvious big teams in the league, the group stages shouldn't be too difficult should we get a favourable draw, its once the knockout stages come thats when it will be too much for us. I sort of agree that we are not quite ready, we lack the depth and quality, but we need to get into Europe to attract more players, bigger sponsorships, keep our current best players and progress, so even if we make it to the champions league and get knocked out at the group stages, at least we are back competing, it took city 10 years after promotion to get in to the Champions league spots, we may do it inside 18 months, from a relegation doomed club, incredible, anything can happen, but for not fingers crossed buddy

The way we play, press, fight, score with pride and passion for the Toon Crest is truly awe-inspiring. Something tells me that we will have our summer targets lined up early so that we can plan for potential UCL / Europa Cup next season; and because of what we have achieved with our current crop of players this season, I reckon 4 or 5 new additions will see us fighting for EPL / UCL / EUROPA, etc. Next season. Some will think I'm deluded for what I said, but just look at the way Eddie & Co have the team playing already, so just imagine 4 or 5 good hard working characters in the dressing room !?!?! 🏆
