I get it you don’t want to believe it but I know it fact, I know people that work with 1st team and it happened but what ever we not arsed because he in my opinion not that good. Can’t imagine how nervous he must be 😂 fair enough when Ashley owned the club it must of been walk in shake hand and that’s it but now the club looks and feels so professional the change is unbelievable. Absolutely class without doubt one of the best ran clubs in the country

Watching this back now after an iffy start to his #NUFC days & him spitting his dummy out when he was subbed is so heartwarming it’s unreal.. what a transformation from the Euros as player of the tournament to carrying it on till now & hopefully beyond…..

Great video and a great signing too, It's great to see these behind the scenes vids, gives a real insight to what goes on and you can't help but join in with the excitement of the player and management at these initial scenes. Cant wait to see him play and flourish as a player at Newcastle

That video of newcastle history or whatever it was will be blown out the water once he's in the stand tomorrow night and on Saturday if he gets a game then he will know, he will feel what it's like to wear the famous black and white of newcastle amd to be a part of us. I for one welcome him and look forward to what he will bring to us.
This has filled me with confidence. He seems really happy to be a Newcastle player. All I’ve heard all last week was that he’s a spoilt brat, has a bad attitude, immature etc. Doesn’t look that way to me. Seems a good lad who’s ready to buy into the Eddie Howe project and get to work. Think him getting out of that toxic situation down at Everton is a relief for him as their fans didn’t half give him a bad time considering he’s a young lad and “one of their own “ Onwards and upwards for him.
Coming into a team full of leaders he won’t get the chance to be a little twat. Blessing for him it could be the best move he will ever make. A chance to play in a team who will keep him right. He ain’t going to mess with trips, Schar, botmaan or burn is he. Think we will genuinely look back as one of greatest signings. HWTL

My oh My what a signing this has become! This kids not even in his prime yet and already one of Newcastle's top 3 guys! Interesting to see him first meeting his teammate that he now has such a tight relationship with!
As an Everton fan I'm mixed about him leaving us, I think we've messed it up completely, he'd stopped performing for us and his shooting is pretty dodgy but he's capable of becoming a top winger. Most of our fans have turned against him but its our own fault and the club has ballsed everything up in the last 5 years...we should have been like your are now 4 or 5 years ago but they messed it up! I think he'll be a different player at Newcastle and he'll be flying in no time and you'll love him and his work rate. He gave us plenty of time and the club and owner didn't perform and didn't put my club where it should now be, so we can't complain! Good luck to him, it's the right step for him and I just hope that one day we're up there with you battling for top 4 or 6! You're a great team and a great city. All the best!

So glad we're getting to see this side of him and the other players. Similar to many in the team, as soon as they cross that white line, the game face comes on. When he speaks to Popey and says he feels bad about leaving. The Everton fans can say what they like, but he had to move to reach his potential.
