To even have the audacity to do what Papi Cisse did is mind blowing. There's not even a debate on whether he wanted to cross or not. He knew what he was doing and thats why its one of the most stunning goals in football History and against one of the best keeper ever.

When I saw that Cisse goal I was actually upset that he scored that goal because I am a Chelsea fan and I was 10 years old that time now as I am 21 years old now I am actually impressed that he scored a goal like that because you will never see another goal like that in the Premier League in a lifetime.
I'm a fan of NUFC since 2011. This team is absolute peak at the time, and seeing the same iteration this season after the difficult seasons just unbelievable.

Oxford pocketed Ozil in that one match. Zarate Kid was there. Cheikhou Kouyate and Noble in the midfield too. (I remember Kouyate had an OP silver card on Fifa some time around there). And let's not forget about our boy Michail Antonio. That season is really nostalgic to me as a West Ham fan, especially that e.g. people like Spencer FC were uploading videos based on West Ham at the time too (Vlogs, Selfie Squad), also the end of Boleyn Ground too. It really went downhill from when we left Boleyn.

I would argue that this Newcastle Team is more impressive than the current one. They got everything right that season, the recruitment, the tactics and the luck with injuries. Would be a perfect season if they have finished 4th and qualified for the CL.
What a season it was. Best since the Bobby Robson era and a great season overall when the premier league went down to the last pass of the season. We just missed out on the champions league. It ended up being a false dawn and a few years later we were back in the championship.
Pardew wasn't even a bad manager. Even that team there had no right, really, of finishing 5th, and then reaching the quarter finals of a European competition
Finally, someone's put together a video with "that" Cisse goal where you actually get to see Drogba applaude it. I knew I wasn't seeing things way back when... Cheers for the vid!
Thank you. Great memories. I remember howling with laughter at Carroll's performance on his return. Demba Ba was a fantastic player who went after the money at Chelski and consequently underachieved. At the time, he was the best striker we'd had since Shearer. And Perchinho, who got an awful lot of stick from some fans, was adaptable and always tried his best. A lot of respect for him.
And then the next year, Sissoko, Debuchy and Gouffran came and since 2013, Newcastle v Chelsea at home were epic games!!! I truly want a compilation of all the Newcastle v Chelsea: I remember Sissoko's Debut vs Ashley Cole, Loic Remy stunning the next year, or another one with Ayoze Perez with the redhair midfielder
