Hello Amanda! What a great video! I am starting a print on demand business in the next month. I was wondering can you explain how you create the template you used in pixelmator to print out 2 thank you cards at once.
Hi Amanda! Thank you for this awesome video! It’s exactly what I was looking for lol :). For the card template that that you used on Pixelmator, can you go over how you made that please?
I will be making a video tutorial soon. Please stay tuned! 😘❤️
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns Did you make this new tutorial? I'm also confused how you set it up
Super great tips, please add the link you referred to about card stock. Cheers.
Ok! I’ll do so once I get a moment. ❤️❤️❤️
This is my favorite video on card making. I was just wondering when you print the art on that white paper does the colors match from the colors in procreate 🤔
I love this video so informative I wanted to ask can you make a video of adding words and graphics inside the card?? I want my cards to have a special message
I shall try! Seems I don’t have much time during the day. lol
Thanks for the video! I see in the comments you say you’re using an old Canon but do you mind still sharing the model? It looks awesome.
CMOEUVRE it’s a canon TS8220! But they have newer models too! ❤️❤️❤️
Just in case some of y’all think that she staged her office for this video....I can assure you....it looks like that all the time. (:
🥰
Hi! Thanks so much for this video. It’s been so helpful. I’m just a little confused with how you created the template on Pixelmator. I have it a try and one card came out bigger than the other. :(
Did I respond to you on Instagram? Wasn’t sure. ❤️
This was super helpful thank you!!! Can I ask what bags you use to out your cards in?
I just use clear cello bags from Amazon
Hi Amanda, very helpful video! Thank you so much for sharing!
I just print in RGB but definitely create the canvas and set it to the cmyk instead. It actually works either way but maybe cmyk is better! 😊❤️
Thanks for this awesome video! What’s the best way to mail out the greeting cards so they won’t bend? Thanks again.
Order rigid mailers. ☺️
This is wonderful, thank you so much.. I have a similar printer the
Canon PIXMA TS9520
But my colors are coming out ashy looking..
What settings do you recommend?
Oh good! So you want to always print from the rear tray and set the settings to matte print. Please note, paper also matters when printing so maybe order different kinds to see which one you like the best. ❤️
Hi Amanda! Love your videos! ❤ Please, could you share other printer recommendations because Canon Pixma TS8350 is sold out everywhere 🙏🏻
Hi! So sorry for the delay in response. Not in here much. Did you find a printer?
This is amazing, thanks so much for the video! Do you use a screen protector on your iPad?
Yes I use the matte paper like screen protector.
Love this video! Thank you.
Why did you choose Pixelmator over Photoshop/Procreate, if I may ask?
owleeber hi!! Thanks so reaching out to me on Instagram! 😊
Amanda thanks so much for this clarity on making greeting cards. SUPER HELPFUL! I have a question pls; is the printer you mentioned ink efficient? I make watercolors painted cards, hence..thanks in advance.
Hi! You’re very welcome! I think it’s okay and it’s great on quality. For watercolor, it may not come out the way you want. So maybe try some textured paper? It’s really your preference. You’ll need to experiment with the stock you like the best. It’s different depending on your art medium. Hope this helps!
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns thanks I actually found some good felt and liken paper to experiment. Your videos give me some clarity and vision for sure. 🤗
Very easy to follow video! Thanks for sharing. Can you please share the Amazon link to the Card Stock Paper please!

Hey there! Loved your video so much! Looked up Pixelmator and there are four different ones. Can you tell me which one I should get? Thanks so much for your help!
Hi! Thank you!! ❤️While Pixelmator is great, I think Affinity designer is better! But if you do pixelmator just do the orange looking app! I use that all the time! But you can definitely use your procreate to create the print document as well. Hope that isn’t too confusing! Lol
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns Why do you choose pixelmator or Affinity over photoshop?
This was such an amazing video and gave me a lot of information so thank you! I was wondering if you sell your cards with envelopes? And if you do how do you find envelopes that fit your cards?
Thanks so much! I’m so glad you found it helpful! I do sell them with envelopes. You can basically look up any size envelopes on amazon. They have a ton of different colors and sizes. You just need to know what size your cards will be. 😊❤️
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns What size envelope do you use with your 4.25 x 5.5 cards? Would it be a 5x7?
Great tutorial! Any tips on where you learned to use ProCreate. I have the app but I find it quite complicated.
There’s a bunch of tutorials on RUclips ☺️
I am really new to card making and this is one of the best videos so far. With that iPad can you print from it instead of using a laptop?
Hi!!! Thank you so much! That’s amazing! And yes it is totally possible to do with iPad. Just use same dimensions used on pixelmator and Apply to iPad. If your printer has an app, download that too.
This is a great video. Can you clarify if you are using RGB colours on your Procreate template and if you adjust these before printing?
For the most part RGB
Hey what’s the name of your paper cuter I love it ! Also is the size you used for pixel mate 8.5x11 template ?
Westcott I believe and yes for the template size 🙃
I love your artwork! What type of paper do you print on?

Awesome video! Very helpful! Could you please tell me what kind of stamps are you using when mailing?
Thank you
Thanks so much! For stickers, I mails with regular forever postage stamps and for cards and merch, I use shipping labels through Etsy.
Can you explain why you have to export over to your Mac Book instead of printing directly from IPad? Is there a program I could put on my iPad Pro to take the place of what you do on Macbook? Great video! Thanks
Hi, so I don’t like using the canon or epson apps on the iPad. You can definitely print from your iPad but sometimes you run into issues.
I find it’s easier for me to choose my settings on a laptop than on an iPad.
But if that’s your only option, download the correct apps for you printer and connect to your printer. You should be able to choose your settings and print from there.
Hola una pregunta como guardas la tarjeta en cmyk o en rgb ?
Thanks for the great information. You are so creative. I have been making art with Procreate, but can’t ever get it to print the right size. Will pixelmator work on an iPad- I don’t have a laptop? Also any recommendations for sticker paper? My daughter makes stickers for social justice charities and then has to laminate them with a xyron machine...I think printing on a waterproof paper would be easier and more professional.
You’re very welcome! Pixelmator will work on an iPad or affinity designer is another program you can use as well. I don’t have any recommendations for stickers at the moment as I don’t print them myself. Best of luck! ❤️
Such a great informative step by step video! Thank you! Whenever I try to print from Procreate my images seem so dark and somewhat dull. I noticed you did no editing on photoshop, how do you manage to get the colours to look good?
Thank you so much! Happy to help! 😊 So what you will probably need to do is download the Canon Print app and print from there. Set to matte photo settings and letter size. It should help your images to come out closer to what you want. 😊 Let me know if it helps!
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns thank you so much for such a quick reply! I’ll give that a go! 🤗
You’re very welcome! 😊❤️

Hi, such a great video! What is the card stock you are using from Amazon? I am currently trying to find some but there are so many! Thanks
I have the link in description. ❤️
Thank you for sharing this information! You're lovely. Is your Procreate color profile set to RBG or CYMK?
Thank you!!! ❤️❤️❤️ I use CYMK on Procreate! 😊
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns How do you set the CMYK on procreate?
Do you think having 4 vs 6 inks makes a huge difference for greeting cards? I just ordered a Canon Pixma G6020 because of the ink tank but now I’m realizing it just has 4 ink colors vs the 6 ink colors you have...might have to switch it
I think it does make a difference. The more colors, the better I think. ❤️
Hi Amanda. Absolutely loved the video. Where did you get the paper cutter and scorer from?
Thank you! Amazon! Most of my supplies are from Amazon! It’s the best! 🙂❤️
@@AmandaHoldenDesigns Thank you. :)

Thanks! I have a canon pro 100 and an epson ecotank printer
A really great video thank you so much, I was wondering if you could tell me is the printing card size A4? I looked on amazon but don’t quite understand the U.S measurements:) thanks

Have you got the link for your paper? I absolutely love this video. I currently make cards and I am looking at making postcards but I don't trust the ink not to smudge in the post and my printer is also not liking printing double sided.
Try getting a printer with a rear tray and the link is in the description of the video. Good luck! ☺️

Yes, can you send me the link to the card stock paper you use, please? Do you buy your envelopes or make them?

HiAmanda - can you share your greeting card profile setting for the printer that you’re using. Thank you!
Yes! I set to matte photo print. Be sure to change the settings on your computer as well. Good luck!
I would love to know how you create your template on pixelmator to print two cards at once! Newbie card creator and just starting out! :)
Yeah I've asked the same thing :3
You’d have to create a Canvas 4.25x5.5 design your card export the file or save to desktop. Create another canvas letter size 8.5x11. Then import the designed image, duplicate put one card on right top other image right bottom. The left use of the card just input text of your business on top left bottom. Be sure to duplicate so you have one on top and one on bottom. Then print, cut and fold
Hi, Can you advise on the printer settings you use with your Camon Pixma please? I have a Canon Pixma Pro 200 but finding that my cards aren't printing as well as they should be and it's really holding me back! please help or advise
So sorry for the delay in response. Not on here much. So it depends on the kind of paper you’re putting in you printer. I typically do 80-100lb paper and I put my setting on matte presentation on the canon.
I have recently switched to an epson printer and it’s been better as far as color. Super vibrant. Would be good to buy a bunch of samples from Red River Paper to see which paper works best for your printer. They have many card stock options that work with Canon printers. ❤️
I need a link on where and what type of paper you used pleaseeeeee 🙏🏼
Thank you soo much!

Hi Amanda, I have watched your video and I am subscribed to your channel, it has been so helpful. You have inspired me and I have used a lot of your tips. I wanted to ask, when you print your greeting cards, have you ever printed them in A5 size (from A4 Card) and have you ever had an issue that the colour did not completely cover the card where you make the fold, leaving a white edge on the left hand side even after choosing bordless printing?... if yes please can you tell me how you how did you rectified this issue please? Thank you.
I have not done A5 before but if you are having issues with borders, you can always trim the cards with your paper cutter.
Oh I see, you said it’s on the left hand side of the card when folded?
I’m attempting to print 10x7 sheet and fold to 5x7. My daughter uses procreate to create her design. After watching your video, we purchased Pixelmator pro. Can we print borderless in this size from Pixelmator?
You should be able to but you might need to create the setting in your printer settings. Not sure what you’re using to print
I own a canon pixma pro 10 and have been looking for a good cardstock. Would you mind sharing a link?

HI . which paper cutter do you use and also in the end you used something to fold the card / pls share

I take out the blade on the score board and I use it just to score cards. It’s so easy and saves time. 😊
If you were going to design an A6 card, what size would you have your canvas set to on Procreate?
In procreate you can change the pixels to inches and all you need to do is enter the numbers 4x6. Hope that makes sense.
greattt video! which app did you use to draw ?
Thank you so much! Procreate! ☺️
Hi Amanda, where did you buy the clear envelope you put the card in? What size is that? Thanks
Amazon. Clear cello sleeves. Just before are because there are different sizes and you need to be sure they fit card and envelope ☺️
On what paper did you print it? Also can you tell me from where did you bought the cutter machine for the card and the other machine that bold the card?
I printed on 100lb paper that you can find on Amazon. Everything you see here is from Amazon.
Hi there! Do you have any recommendations on how to double side print a card from procreate if you want a message inside?
You can really double side print on rear feeder so you’d have to print manually. Print front side first and then turn around and print the inside. You might have to experiment.
Hi, would you be able to share a link of the paper that you bought from amazon?
