I also struggled with knowing what Canvas pixelxpixel size to use!
Knowing what I know now, Here’s what I recommend for reference : the flipaclip canvas sizes are great reference, to show how big art will show up on phone, RUclips, etc.
anything bigger than those sizes are higher resolution, better!
Thank you for this awesome video! 🙏🏻 ✨

I tried all you said and what fixed it was tool options, having the brush smoothing at weighted, since it doesn't happen then, but not at stabilizer, since such a delay. Even when I paint slow, no worries. Thanks a bunch with the resolution tip too, bro bro! ^_~

Hey man thanks for the vids, you've helped a couple times. I watched both of your videos on jagged lines and have followed all of the steps, my lines are still super pixelated / jagged, at any level of zoom. It's so bad I can't fill a circle with paint bucket. Seems to be getting worse, I can only fill if I use a line about 3.5 width, which is too thick. I had the same issue on Corel Painter before I switched to Krita. Tried 2 pens and mouse, all the same, I don't think it's a hardware issue. Any more ideas?

Having the same brush smothing selected (weighted) the lines look all pixelated, even when using the assistant (the lines drawn using the spline assistant look worse than those drawn free hand !) 100%! 3k is a great res, especially because the art won't typically be all the way out to the edges - so 3k canvas will be approximately a 2.5k size logo. If that makes sense.

@@TutsByKai would you draw the logo big so it will take up the whole place or would you draw it a little bit smaller

Don't you need to be running Krita on a desktop to smoothly draw in such big resolutions? I'm working on a laptop and it be freezing when I go to such big resolutions :/

Draw on 4k like I was animation at 720p and doing a small eye and it was so pixelated I thought I will be able to post it in the resolution in which I draw but 1080 didn't helped but 4k works like a charm I draw in so big canvas I was doing in 720p becoz I thought of that but I Got some mind now😂😂😂
