This is a golden case of songwriter/s clearly understanding the mission; writing a proper rock song for Dante, Son of Sparda. The phrasing is on par with an AI thematic buzzword generator, but the vocab is on point, the tone is on point, the guitar style, the drumbeat and rhythm, the lo-fi bridge... This song is a proper DMC anthem. Remember that another DMC anthem with its' phrasing on point had the boy-pop lyrics: They will see We'll fight until eternity Come with me We'll stand and fight forever Through our strength We'll make a better day Tomorrow, we Shall never surrender. Also a banger in its own right, but... Well. Not exactly a Mermaid Rocks piece.

Honestly, this song plus playing marvel vs. Capcom as Dante gets me hyped like hell. Pop devil trigger and it's even more so. I played infinite, and the Dante vs Jeda part with infinite DT just had me kicking his demon ass relentlessly. Good times
