Couple things I wanted to mention, but couldn't figure out how to write into the video. One is if, in the hypothetical, but not confirmed scenario I described where the winner breaks Polygon Man's control over the other characters in All-Stars. Whoever the ultimate winner might've been, the other characters that returned home without any sort of power. I could see this scenario still being canon to at least some of these IP's main canons, but ONLY with this scenario. Examples: Ratchet & Clank would still be looking for Gold Bolts. Nate & Sully would head off on their next adventure (there's 20-years of adventures in between Uncharted titles left to explore for future games btw). The Cooper Gang...let's just say around the time of the "Timing is Everything" short for Sly 4, since it still uses the Sly 4 designs. etc. etc. But the alternate endings for every character that actually exists in the game, where they get this new power, those would only be canon to kratos' universe, not the ones in my theory scenario. The other thing is a question I didn't think of until uploading this. But which scenario is Ragnarok going off of for All-Stars? My hypothetical theory, or the kratos beating Polygon Man ending? That's the true question isn't it?🤔
Have you considered doing a video of your ideal PlayStation All-Stars 2? From fighters to a potential Story Mode? To bonus content and other modes? I think you could make a great video about that. A PlayStation All-Stars 2 absolutely NEEDS a Story Mode where all the world's somehow collide, and forces the heroes to come together to defeat Polygon Man, who has recruited villains like Dr Nefarious, Errol, Clockwork, Specter, Zarok, Vex Alden & Zeus to stop them, in exchange for their deepest desires made real, and they can send other villains as boss fights, though Polygon Man does inevitably betray the villains once they've outlived their usefulness. The story could jump around between multiple different characters like Injustice did, think of it like this; you play as Kratos 5-6 times, almost like a mini-campaign, and that mini-campaign will see you fight alongside someone or by yourself, depending on that character, Kratos might team up with Ellie to fight Knack, and then maybe a boss fight against a Thunderjaw from Horizon, and maybe a fight against a group of enemies across multiple games, Kratos & Atreus and Joel & Ellie reunite before being attacked by another boss, maybe the Beast from Infamous 2, and Kratos, Atreus, Joel & Ellie work together to defeat the Beast. The Kratos mini-campaign ends with Kratos & Atreus and Joel & Ellie joining forces to figure out what is happening, before switching to another character, like say Sly Cooper, PaRappa the Rapper, Nathan Drake etc. And we do that character's mini-campaign, so on and so forth, some characters may even get multiple mini-campaigns to create one big campaign, and those characters would be the more iconic and important characters, like Kratos, Nathan Drake, Cole MacGrath, The Bloodborne Hunter, Aloy, Jin Sakai, AstroBot, Sackboy, Kat, Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, Sly Cooper, PaRappa the Rapper, Spike & Sir Daniel Fortesque. Certain characters like AstroBot & Sackboy instantly becoming best buds. The Bloodborne Hunter attacking Knack believing he's a Beast of Yharnam. Kratos separated from Atreus meeting Ellie, and Joel separated from Ellie meeting Atreus, resulting in Kratos & Ellie and Joel & Atreus teaming up. Kratos at one point could even fight a version of his past self, that way you could have both the young vengeful Kratos & the older more wise and experienced Kratos as playable fighters. Deacon St John & Boozer could meet Cole MacGrath & Zeke, seemingly about to fight before Kessler shows up to taunt Cole into a fight, and then warning him that Polygon Man is behind everything, and turns out Polygon Man attempted to recruit Kessler but refused and fled. There's a lot of potential for a great story for a potential PlayStation All-Stars, especially considering PlayStation has a knack for telling great stories. Oh and Mimir from God of War should host the Training Mode, with Brok & Sindri being in charge of a Shop where you can buy bonus stuff like artwork, stickers, icons, costumes, taunts and all sorts of other stuff.
Let’s be real here PlayStation all stars deserves a sequel Especially sense there’s a lot of platformer fighters now Like lego brawlers, multiverses, nick all stars brawl, and of course smash bros So why wouldn’t Sony try another swing at this type of game But anyway I love these kinds of Easter eggs especially with PlayStation it makes everything feel more linked
Still wish someone would make a fan game at least. Similar to that one Smash Bros Fan Game (Smash Flash 2) someone made a years ago. Mainly since Sony is still too scared to try again.
The people at PlayStation did state that for the PS5 era they were going to focus more on PlayStation exclusives, and what's more exclusive than a fighting game about PlayStation characters!
Fun Fact: PSASBR is canon to LittleBigPlanet too, as stated by the official twitter account! and uhh, Sackboy canonically won, which kinda fits seeing how he has the skins used in All-Stars within his games.
You by any chance have a link to that tweet? I'd very much like to take a look at it! As for the skins in LBP, I've only barely scratched the surface of the 3rd game, so I wouldn't know.
In defence of Rift Apart, it does confirm that there are an infinite amount of universes (well technically Tools of Destruction did so, but Rift Apart reaffirmed that), so that would - logically - mean there's also an infinite amount of Jaks and an infinite amount of Nathan Drakes, so it's actually entirely plausible that the different universes would feature slightly different versions of events (namely, events that transpired at different time periods).
Honestly I would prefer a big crossover adventure game, which I can’t help but wonder considering all the multiverse stuff involving these games recently.
I think a PlayStation All-Stars sequel is more likely now than it's ever been, especially since Sony wants to create more GAAS games, combined with the recent resurgence of Platform Fighters like Multiversus, Nickolodeon All-Star Brawl & Brawlhalla. Additionally, some time ago I recall there being a job listing at Insomniac Games for people who specializes in Fighting Games, this doesn't mean it's a PlayStation All-Stars sequel but I wouldn't be against the idea if they were, especially if Bluepoint were working alongside them.
But if Playstation All-stars is canon, and other Playstation games are related to some others, does that mean there will be a new Playstation All-stars game? I did enjoy that game on my PS3. My best favorite characters were Sackboy, Sly and Parappa. Now I know Sony doesn't own Crash anymore. But ever since Crash's return, he had exclusive stuff for Playstation games because maybe he was meant to be a true Playstation All Star. I mean come on, Bioshock wasn't even Playstation exclusive because it was first on Xbox. If Xbox can allow Bioshock to be in a Playstation crossover game, I should know Crash should be too. I mean it is a possibility if you look at it that way.
Could it be possible that the losers were sent home and shortly lost their memories of the events? Either way I think it was just a fun little nod at the end, also maybe a way of SMS saying that to them Kratos is the canon winner of All-Stars XD. I do like the idea about their being universes where the events of the games happened differently or at a different time, as that is a common theme for a multiverse (or PlayStation-Verse as I've been calling it) while being a good way to introduce crossovers without messing with a game's timeline (unless the creator of the game wants that crossover to be canon). What Im trying to say is that if for example Lunk and Gleeber from PlayStation Moves Heroes were to ever return, this idea could be used so that though they might know who Ratchet and Clank are, the intergalactic duo we've followed since 2002 have no idea who the aliens are since they never met them BUT a Ratchet and Clank from another universe/timeline did. It also would be fun to get more games that reference other PlayStation exclusive series.
7:52, The characters you fight during the Polygon Man Boss fight could also be false fighters mimicking the abilities of the real fighter, because there is a chance that you would run into the normal fighter and the polygonal slave in a character's arcade route, somewhat like the false characters in Smash Brawl's storyline Polygon man probably observed the fighters abilities and copied their move to use them alongside the fighters who actually failed to defeat polygon man, the hype trailer can probably prove this
I'd love to see improved sequel to All-Stars Battle Royale. It has such a wasted potential & 'Round 2' (I like to call it that way) would pay it off if the team knew what to do with it. Also PlayStation Theory is like Pixar Theory (which is another great aspect) & I've been thinking for years that would be cool if PS world had its own dimensions where every iconic character belongs to.
I think its all a dream with the polygon man planting it all in their minds and after the dream is over, everyone chooses to not speak about it as that its not sure if its real or just a dream. Mimir would've brought it up as he must have the power to tap in the mind of kratos and only seen something thats not been told the full story that he's curious to know of. Wouldn't be surprised if there's another ps all stars where everyone eventually bands together to fight polygon man but after defeating him, before going through the portals to their worlds, they'd forget the moment the portal closed. Anyone like kratos may have a strong mind to remember a little but it'll feel like a dream.
I have played God of War Ragnarok. It’s just that I haven’t gotten to the part when Kratos made that PS All-Stars Battle Royale Reference. Sony should make a Sequel to PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale with a lot of improvements and I hope they put Sly Cooper in the roster.
Given how much of media nowadays is a Ready Player One circlejerk of "Look how many properties we own in our streaming service!", I feel like a sequel or remake of PlayStation All-Stars could happened (Plus, they can also use the lack of a proper story mode in Smash 4 and Ultimate to their advantage by having a story campaign that could be on-par with Subspace Emissary, if not more)
Damn that's a lot, I sometimes think about these stuff, pretty much my braincell goes "neuron activation" when these stuff are involved and I think I have an idea on why and how all these events take place within decades of one another. I was playing Gravity Rush 1 (I highly recommend it by the way, this is not a recmommendation, play it now or I'll live on your walls) and what this duology establishes from the get go is that the lower you are in the world pillar, the slower time moves and this applies to other condenced world inside the series. Say, Jirga Para Lhao, Kat spent a couple of days in that place until she got back to Hekseville, where 3 years have passed. With this in mind, maybe in the perspective of some of these worlds, either time moves faster or slower depending on where you find yourself, maybe while Kratos was just becoming Hades' slave, the people in Yharnam were just building the Healing Church and making blood treatments. As to how these worlds funcion in cohesion is not really rocket science, sometimes you find a world made of papercrafts and other times a world where a fungus that used to infect insects evolves and starts infecting humans. My explanation is basically throwing shit to a wall but, I don't know, my brain goes monke with these ideas.
That I think would solely depend on which route Santa Monica considers canon to kratos' universe. If we go by kratos' ending, combined with my theory that everyone else goes free as a result of defeating Polygon Man. I can see that as being canon to at least most, if not all the IP's. But say someone else defeats Polygon Man when kratos fails to. Still setting everyone else free. That would still be canon to kratos' universe, and maybe every other series involved. Just not the series that received a specific ending. Hope that makes some sort of sense, 'cause it does sound confusing until we get more clarity. :)
Technically...but there's two sets of problems. 1. Aphelion (Ratchet's ship from the Future Saga) isn't in the re-Imagining, or the Life of Pie short (which might be a separate canon on it's own). So R&C's appearance in All-Stars is meant to represent the series at the time (the Future Saga), years before the Re-Imagining happened. And 2. the Movie is an in-universe Holo-film to the main series/timeline, while the PS4 game was Qwark's version of the story from the PS2 game. While Ratchet & Clank's inclusion in All-Stars would fit in anywhere during the Future Saga, and before Rift Apart. It's just their Arcade ending doesn't fit into their own series. If it was the "other character beat Polygon Man" angle, I can see that ending fitting in fine to their own canon, if that scenario were to ever be confirmed.

I know this is off topic but you spelled “Royale” wrong. On the title of your video it was spelled as “Royake” instead.
I'm so sorry, I was in a massive hurry yesterday & must've overlooked it. Thanks for letting me know, and it's already fixed! :)

Still can’t believe SpongeBob the cosmic shake has a release date of January 31st, 2023. Absolutely can’t wait for it!
That makes sense👍
Best Kratos feat
Also kratos also in mortal combat too

This game neeeeeeds to get a sequel, like Some time soooon! This game came out way before the PS4 and the PS5 came out!!
Polygon man sounds so much like Will Ferrell. Does anyone else think the same thing at all?
You know that means Isaac Clarke is stronger than Zeus
The truth is that we don't know, but hey, whoever decides the Writer wins I suppose
I'm still hoping for A Sequel game

Ah yes, PlayStation all stars battle royake
Terribly sorry about the spelling error, I wish I'd noticed it sooner. But it's fixed now. :)
@@BlueKnightV20 based
My main question is, what does this mean for the arcade story for Zeus, another God of War character?
I want a new PlayStation all stars that make us play only clank
Sly Cooper 5 please
So is PSAS officially canon to all of the games, not just GoW,but also Ratchet and Clank,Sly Cooper,Uncharted,Metal Gear etc?

Not really, a reboot is starting from zero.
But hang on, what about PlayStation movie heroes? Is that canon at all? Lol
Bruh you got play the God Of War Games there so awesome I played some of the games younger but now I’m trying to play all the games😁👍
Crash bandicoot is an xbox character
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is way better than Super Smash Bros
