- With prices on everything from gas to groceries being so insanely high, its not a stretch to expect the high price hikes have even affected the humble snapback hat! In this video I unbox and review the Branded Bills Elite Curved snapback hat. My thoughts are yes its expensive but like it is often said "you pay for what you get". When you wear a hat like me every single day you learn what you do like and what you dont like in a hat . Personally im very picky about snapbacks and am a harsh critic often trying on dozens before settling on THE ONE . Each snapback could be the same exact hat but no two hats fit the same so ordering a hat online was a leap of faith especially at this price point ! Long story short I love it ! It pains me to wear it because I dont want to get it dirty lol

I wear two different hats depending on whats going on. A wool Irish style gray Boston scally Co scally cap, or my motorcycle clubs hat that is a snap back with our colors on the front. Buy what you'll wear, my wife asked me why I buy the expensive stuff sometimes and I tell her it's because I barely buy anything, so when I buy the expensive stuff that lasts me longer. My most nerve-racking moments are when I have to purchase something new that I've never bought before.

If I have a tool given by a loved one it would be infinitely worth more than anything I could possibly purchase today if you got your grandpa saw I freaking make that thing last me forever if I had to get the windings done and the points replaced on to make it like brand new or have it torn apart and a new motor that would support a higher voltage or something put in it just to keep it. I own all my grandfathers and my father's tools using them on the daily it feeds my kiddos.

@Fake It or Make It It has been a few months with the hat. Can you do a follow-up review on how well it stood up with use? I want one and going between it and Melin. I know people that have trained hard and sweat a lot in melins and after washing them, they look brand new. I'd like to know what this one looks like after months of use. I have been checking your other videos but not seeing you in it there.
I cant say that i have actually worked and sweat in my particular hat . I have been using it as my "dress" hat . Silly as that sounds . Its is very comfortable to weat but i will say this . It is a bit small . I intend to buy melins for this fact alone . I have the adjustment maxed out on my branded bills that is on major complaint that i have . Also for this reason i may start wearing it on the daily and get a melins for nicer wear .
I just got a logo maid but I only need one for now but they're saying it's a minimum of 12
How big is your head? Would that fit a 7 5/8 to 7 3/4 big head? Or would I be on the last snap
Hey thanks for watching ! Im not sure the exact size of my head but i do have a pretty large head . This particular hat is set on the second snap . So its on the next to the last snap. One thing i will say is that the foam liner on the inside was a little different at first but now i love it . I wish they would make the dimensions of the hat overall just a smidge larger but thats just me being picky
Is there some flex with the band? Or is it your typical SnapBack?
The snap area is pretty typical but the rest of the band that goes round your head is very comfortable.
Think I’ll stick with the Nike Classic 99 hats for $20
I just ordered one i sent back my melin the brim was tiny i wanted to like melin but the hat fit weird the brim was very short
Wow i figured a hat that was meant to be bigger for bigger heads wouldve been bigger all the way around proportionately. It sucks that theres no places other than lids to go see them in person before you buy . Thanks so much for commenting ive been very curious about melins also thanks for checking out the video!
Can you put your own logo on it, or just choose from what they have?
No they dont offer that service . Basically you pick whatever configuration they have available. But there are other sights that offer that sort of thing for sure!

I have a Melin hat and absolutely love it but man they are $70. Was looking at the Branded Bills as an alternative, since you have both, what are your thoughts between the two brands and quality of each?
