Love it brother. I am so tied up with my family I just can’t get away to do what I just watched. Being in Gods great outdoors is such a blessing. Brings peace to my sole especially when times are hard! God has brought me though some very tough times in the Pursuit of what I have experienced to be the greatest fresh water fighter’s in the rivers and small streams of Ohio. Thank you for sharing this video. It’s like I am there.
Man, John..Your opening musical intro, and then the second musical video section you did is second to none! Professionals couldn't have made anything better than what you put out! Great work and thanks for taking us all along! :-)
For those of us who dont live in smallmouth country this wasnt just agreat trip it was an epic trip! Here in the helen georgia area we dont have small mouth or coosa bass nor do we have rock bass. We do have a very rare redeye subspecies shoal bass that i have seen no place else. They are very agressive but even with the almost certian strike hard to catch because they are so rare. Keep up the great work and when school starts back and you go back to catch some more of those smallies an invite would be great lol.
Nothing like the smallies. They are in most of our creeks and rivers up here in my area of ohio, something I think I take for granted. Your videos are so nicely done and enjoyable to watch buddy
I got to say john, you have quite the taste in music when it comes to doing your scene or your thoughts with your drone. Phenomenal job I could never fly a drone I may have to start trying again. And that scenery is absolutely beautiful man I love it
That was REAAAAAALLLLY cool to see those other bass chasing the one that bit!!! Those kinds of rowdy fish get me soooo pumped!!! Nice adventure as usual John!!!
John, Great Video and Outstanding Fishing, Thanks for letting me tag along on . I Greatly Appreciate All Your Hard Work and sharing your time and knowledge and wisdom and experience. God Bless You. Tim L.
John, I have to say, it looks like you had a pretty good day sir. i would love to be able to wade in the creeks like you do and find that kind of bass. Another great video sir. GOD BLESS and GO KATS!!!!!!
6:06 this is a good backhand cast to learn for creek fishing -- smallmouth like rocky bottom shade where the bank trees are drooping over, so quite frequently you don't have the overhead area to make a basic over the shoulder cast. Skipping lures under branches, just like you would skip a lure under a dock, that works very well also. Better be ready for a fast hookset as it sinks. Three casts, 2.5 fish +1 Like
Went out today to a local creek outside of Rochester NY. All gear on your recommendation. TFO Trout and Panfish Rod, Piscifun 1000, and a box of Trout Slayers. 50 Smallies, and Rock Bass in about 2 hours and a quarter mile worth of wading!! Thanks John!!!
Nothing like a good Creek Fishing Adventures outing to make your day and ours. Ready to get out on one of our IL creeks this weekend. Upcoming KY trip should be nice too for both of us. Great video and drone footage John. Blessings brother
Great video. My favorite type of fishing here is Arkansas. You should be able to cast further if you fill your reel spool more full of line. I buy cheap 40lb braid and fill my spool half full and the fill the rest with my 10lb or whatever braid or fluoro after that to pretty full. Comes off the spool easier and goes a bit further. Helps with hanging back and not spooking fish. Just a thought. Tight lines!
We found em bunched up in real shallow shade and deep Eddie’s last week. It was a crazy hot hellgrammite bite all day. Your videos are the next best thing to being on the water!
Our creeks were looking really low for a while, but since we've been getting rain every two to three days for two weeks or so, they've been looking better. Some of the larger creeks I go to ain't even had a chance to clear up this week! Awesome video, John!
Just started fishing. I enjoy your creek fishing adventures. I find it much more appealing than fishing from a boat at a river or the sea. I like hiking so doing what you do let’s me do both things I enjoy. I am learning a lot from you when it comes to where to cast and what too look for in a creek. I just started fishing and sometimes all the fish talk on other videos annoy me. Probably cause I don’t really understand what they are talking about. Most channels cater to more proficient fishermen who have been doing this for a while . Not a new by like me. Beginner videos are always how to videos but I believe the person doing the videos are not always the best teachers. But I believe that you are very appealing probably because of the way you describe what you are doing. It makes me feel like I am in the creek with you and you are talking to me. But of course you are not. You are on your own but you know what you want to communicate and do a great job at it. How tall are you?? How do you see the fish that good?? I don’t see them unless the water it’s really clear. Anyways thank you for your videos.
I went to Nashville, TN. I wanted so bad to fish beautiful creeks like this, but couldnt find any close. The streams I saw though were so beautiful ❤️ we at least enjoyed Nashville, will definitely be back!
Great drone footage so peaceful, that's an awesome creek perfect for wading, some nice places for camping, that last fish it look like it jumped to the tree branches, I was wondering if you ever tried a curly tail worm like zoom mag 2 it would be great to see how the fish react to that!👍🎣
Great video! You did a great job out there! I really enjoyed watching you out there! Some nice catches. Appreciate you sharing. Keep up the good work. As always, #CreekFishingAdventures rocks!!!
Thank you for the awesome content you bring. Lived, and very much miss Flat Rock NC, 5 minutes from Big Hungry. Thank you for the thing. I live on Deep Gap Loop Rd. I know sounds like a Dr Seuss book. I made up a story about the Gap Frog that I told my girls😂
Man, when I visited eastern Tn earlier on, I tried wade fishing and had zero luck haha... you make it look so easy. One thing that completely surprised me was how deep some of those creeks and streams really are. The water is so clear, you can see the bottom easily in 3-4ft of water... here in Texas, if you can "see bottom", the water is like 4 inches hahaha....
Hey man! For creeks like this you would have more fun if you downsize the rod power. Try the Walmart 4’6 shakespear ultralight with 4lb test. Trust me I walk the rivers in the Midwest and use that setup all the time, you’ll love it man🤘
In Central Oregon we were at a popular swimming hole on the Deschutes River, put on the mask to see what was down towards the bottom and there were tons of trout swimming amongst the swimmers. They were definitely used to people thrashing around in their water. I wish I could get some of those long casts you make. If I have something light on there it kind of dies in less than 10 feet. Is it the length of the pole, the reel you use or the line that gets you so much distance? We have a muddy bottom with lots of weeds so you almost have to go weedless. I wish we didn’t have such thick ones. I was trying to wade out a bit and the weeds cover everything up and the bottom tries to suck your shoes off.😂
Strong drone footie!, people have told me to get a drone for my YT, but I really don’t want take that drone operators flight class… I bet you passed it no prob
Man. Spent vacation this summer in far east Tennessee. Hoped to find some creeks like this but didn't know they mostly have small COLD streams and they are all about their trout over there. Couldn't find a smallmouth to save my life. 😮💨
When you get them to start jumping into your hand. That will be the next big trick. Nice video John Great Drone footage. What kind of?.Fish were those in the underwater footage?
I am from Charlotte, NC and spoke with you once about fishing the Charlotte greenway as I am just getting into recreational wade fishing. But wanted to ask as many times you visit NC, have you ever tried the Mitchell River for smallmouth in Surry County close to the Elkin area. When I lived in Yadkinville years ago i had coworkers that fished it and talked about the smallmouth they would catch but as I said curious if you fished any parts of the Mitchell River and what were your results. Plus it has numerous creeks around as well. Thanks for another great video and hoping to maybe see a response regarding the mitchell river. God Bless.
try some bigger water with the craws or snake lures - bigger places equals bigger fish but still a pretty productive fishin session - you just can't go wrong with the hellgrammite - it is smallmouth candy
I have found that Smallmouth fight much harder than Largemouth.Have you found this to be the case.Smallmouth just seem a bit stronger.Maybe it's the cold water.
Considering everything going on in this crazy world I definitely pay attention to your videos cuz one day I might need this information to survive later
I have a creek simular to this in middle Tennessee with small mouth I’ll try out a black cray fish type jig does anyone have any other things the found to work well in this area and type of environment
That opening drone footage is amazing. Love just wading creeks and fishing. Thanks for bringing us along John
an almost perfect day for any fisherman... Birds, good water, and some fish...
Brilliant day bro
Very pretty smallies. Thank you for sharing. God bless you and your family...🙏❤🙏❤🙏

Pretty water, I live here in east TN & am blessed to be within a 10 minute drive of some fantastic smallie fishing…

your films are so enjoyable. I wish I could come down to Tennessee and fish with you.
I floated green river here in NC last weekend and caught a 3.1 and 3.4 smallmouth and lots of smaller bass. I love small river fishing 👍
That is awesome!
When you post I instantly start looking for the closet snacks to me cause I know the video go crazy
Absolutely beautiful video . Now that I am getting my health I hope I can get to fishing more .
As usual. Looks like an amazing day on the water.
Man that is beautiful, creek fishing for smallmouth is my absolute favorite type of fishing!
Thanks John for another nice video. Stay Blessed.

Loved the underwater footage! Thanks for another great fishing video!
Your videos are fun to watch. You make it good.
Waiting on my local creek to clear up and go down. Perfect timing on the video. Much appreciated...
Beautiful scenery, love the drone footage! Enjoyed the video Jon !
Creek fishing is the way to go for sure 🎣
Another great video dude. The drone footage at the beginning was awesome. Keep making videos, we'll keep watching.
Glad you've had plenty of rain out your way. I'm over near Land Between The Lakes and all of our waters have been pretty low.
Great creek bass. That place looks amazing. Great work. Great video
Beautiful scenery

Another awesome video well done

Great edits & testament!
what great looking area!
Have you ever noticed when you cast up and Stir up bait fish or walk up Stir up fish and then bam! here comes a small mouth blowing up
Man this was awesome adventure.
I've been catching smallmouth at Wolftever boat ramp and out on Chickamauga towards Booker. Nothing huge, but a few decent 12-14" ones.
That Smallmouth really went airborne.
Awesome video, as always. Thanks for sharing, bsafe buddy 👍
Love it, keep up the great work man.

Great video, like always. What part of middle Tennessee? I live and fish around Murfreesboro. Thanks
10:00 that was a neat shot
I was at my uncle’s fishing in his pond and saw a snake swimming with about a 1/2 bass in his mouth. He was on top of the water just crusing along
Strong drone footie!, people have told me to get a drone for my YT, but I really don’t want take that drone operators flight class… I bet you passed it no prob
Does the camera have polarized lenses? So the viewers can see the fish in the water too
Awesome creek smallies John. When is the next kayak tournament....love those videos
had one saturday but it didnt go well but got another coming up soon
@@CreekFishingAdventures awesome best of luck bro, i truly enjoy those and im always pulling for ya to win. Catch ya next time your friend from NJ.
Nice uni knot 👍
Would love to have you out in Middle TN at Yellowcreek - smallies, redeyes, bluegill galore - let me know if you have any interest!
Man. Spent vacation this summer in far east Tennessee. Hoped to find some creeks like this but didn't know they mostly have small COLD streams and they are all about their trout over there. Couldn't find a smallmouth to save my life. 😮💨
there are tons in east tennessee but if you are in higher elevation you wont find as many
Is this part of the Duck River? Harpeth? I was planning on hitting up a lake tomorrow but this creek looks fun.
When you get them to start jumping into your hand. That will be the next big trick. Nice video John Great Drone footage. What kind of?.Fish were those in the underwater footage?
some were darters and logear, i think stonerollers were the schooled up ones
Thanks eyes just couldn't make them out.
U can always put tape on your rod at 12,14,16,18 inches and u don't need a ruler to know how long your fish are.

no i havent, there are a lot of creeks in NC i need to get to
very nice vid
What size was your fishing pole and what size fishing line was you using.? Nice video. Keep up the good work

Very cool
What kind of line do u use
1.2k+👍🏻🎣👀
Beautiful place that you are fishing what type hook do use for the hellgrammite
zman bulletz or owner blockhead offset
@@CreekFishingAdventures thank you
You ever wish in warren or van buren County Tennessee my mother in law told me there's alot of small mouth bass in em creeks and rock bass
yep thats a good area, can be tough to get to some of the creeks
All our rivers and creeks down here are up and muddy
I have found that Smallmouth fight much harder than Largemouth.Have you found this to be the case.Smallmouth just seem a bit stronger.Maybe it's the cold water.
they do, they live in current
You'd be surprised what big smalleys are hidden in those small streams bubba
Wanted to ask you, have you tried those wheels made to attach to the Shoalie Kayak?
i have not, i have friends that like and use them
Really nice cristal clear creek what rod your used?
fenwick elite ft med
Are they holding in oxygenated water, like in trout fishing?
they can hold in deep slow water but they feed in current and like it
What’s the name of this creek? I’m in the middle TN area and need some remote places to fish
Considering everything going on in this crazy world I definitely pay attention to your videos cuz one day I might need this information to survive later
John. Where in mid Tn did you go? I live in Murfreesboro, and I’m looking for some good spots.
there are creeks all around you
@@CreekFishingAdventures that’s for sure. Yes. Just need to explore. Have a good one.
What were those schooling fish? There were a ton.
i think stonerollers?
Never heard of em
It looks like a long cast. How far are you actually casting
30-40 ft id guess
@@CreekFishingAdventures what combo is that?
I have a creek simular to this in middle Tennessee with small mouth I’ll try out a black cray fish type jig does anyone have any other things the found to work well in this area and type of environment
Any thing that bites is a good one when you fishing for anything that can hit it
Gotcha
Some people have told me to cast by them because they saw a fish😂
Are you using straight braid? Nice video!
10 lb leader line
