Yeah, those C43's are properly quick and put the power down to the wheels better than the Infiniti. Always good to see my car at it again. Win lose or draw its always a blast to rip down the runway.

@@UNIQUEMEN100 its a JB4, essentially a boost controller - not a "bad tune". ECU tune obviously opens up additional potential of the VR30, seen, like literally everywhere. The purpose of this race to celebrate 2 door twin turbo V6 big ole heavy coupes which are no longer going to be available.

Jb4 IS NOT a tune. Major issues across the board and should never be recommended over a real flash rune.
Stop whining, it makes more power than stock. Yes it isn’t a tune and it isn’t as good as one, but it can make as much power as a tune.

You can make more power with a tune, but that will depend on the tune.
As for “blowing turbos”, you would be responsible for that.
If you modify your car and push it past oem numbers, you should know the risks
Sam you need to actually tune the car, not just a boost controller. The trans is so much faster when tuned by a tuner such as racebox. Get full bolt ons and a tune ( borla exhaust, Ams heat exchanger, ams lower down pipes), and a racebox remote tune and you’ll get 450 wheel horspower(530hp) on your equivalent of 93 in the us. Upgrade the turbos, vrx70 z1 motorsports turbos you’ll get a max of 750 wheel horsepower on e85, upgrade to ams alpha 10. Turbos and you’ll get 1000 wheel horsepower on e85( built motor required and these turbos aren’t released yet)
So spend another 10 grand just to be able to beat the c43 🤦♂️🥲

Stock for stock. The battle is between two big car companies and who makes stock better. What is the point if u gonna tune? I can tune my 08 accord add turbo to it and go race with the q60 🤷♂️

The guy in the Mercedes is not good at these races. He doesn't know how to pace, and he should have removed those glasses. Trying to look cool sometimes messes things up like it did in this race.

Best to leave the transmission in the Infiniti in Auto while using the paddle shifter to put you in the gear you want. The worst thing you can do is to manually shift that 7-spd. The result will still be the same but the gap will be closer. Too bad the 9-spd never got a chance in the Q50/60 RS.
Absolutely 💯. That's what I do with my auto z hr. Downshift to the gear I want, floor it whilst putting it back to auto. Manual shift is stupid slow with these cars
I always get better 0-60 and 1/4 mile times when manually shifting though. Just got to time it right so it shifts around 6900-7k, in D it short shifts and rpms drop lower and lower each shift.

@@Eugen-EYou’re wrong. Stock for stock, the Q50 Red Sport is actually pretty even with a pre-facelift C43 Amg
in acceleration and weight.
The facelift C43 makes more power and has a better transmission so its quicker than the pre-facelift.
In any case, the C43’s accelerate quicker at lower speeds and somehow launch harder, even with no launch control and you can’t brake torque it.
Interesting as the Q50 RS makes more power to the wheels when tested on a dyno stock for stock.

Jb4 isn’t a tune, it’s a boost controller. And when adding things like 3” lower downpipes on that Q, you’re definitely going to want a tune ESPECIALLY if catless. Those intakes are likely doing nothing, or performing worse than stock if anything.. the heat exchanger you mentioned helps add a couple pulls before getting heat soaked though. But that Q doesn’t make nearly the power you say it does with those parts, there’s absolutely no way 😂😂 460-470bhp?? more like 415-425bhp MAX. Y’all either got lied to or overshot. 🤦♂️ racebox tuned on 93 plus catback exhaust, AMS downpipes, heat exchanger and AMS intakes would get you into the territory you advertised here.

I'd rather have the C43 (but I'd take the M340i over all of them) but I can't help rooting for the underdog. But the Q is just so handicapped by that horrible 7AT...I'd like to see how it does with the Ecutek tune, seems like that is a little better for these cars than the JB4.

The continuation of the C and E class coupe is the CLE. Base model has 4 cylinders. CLE 450 will have a 6 cylinder.

@VERY_RAREQ50RS you’re not gapping a tuned c43 in a rs your transmission is complete cheeks compared to the 9 speed and the c43 is just an over all better car to put power down. This gap is too big for any tune to close the gap and gap the c43
C43 doesn’t match anywhere against b58 or vr30 I used to eat these like nothing and I was FBO downpipe JB4, this Q60 isn’t running what it should be I was making around low-mid 400s wheel. Maybe he isn’t driving it right. I was running 3.7-3.9 0-60.

Well this is strange. I’m binging videos from this channel and I just came from the same race,he did this already year n half ago except it was a c43 sedan. They ran them stock then with tunes and both times the RS was ahead.

the q60rs is so heavy.I ran against one the other day in my 300 whp accord 2.0t and he was barely pulling away,the transmission also slow it down a lot.
I had a Q50 barely pull my ktuned civic 1.5t. Infinity 's are garbage.

The Jacto version of this transmission is develop and manufacture by Jatco since 2020 in mexico, with code name JR913E.

The competition has moved on and yet nissan still stuck on old platforms but keeps raising the price.

With the Q's bolt ons ldp 3inch CBE i dont see how its not overboosting and ruining the turbo motors etc. I dont think the jb4 has any control of the over boosting issue. I have the same bolt ons but sonictuned with ecutek and my tuner advised to never run the car hard on the stock ROM because of over boosting ????

the non redsports have to worry about overboosting somewhat
i never got a code for that issue and i have a redsport with lower downpipes and catback engine and plently of people run jb4 long term no issues and lower downpipes doesn't require a tune all the people who sell them mention that
now running hard on stock ecu full downpipes will toss a check engine code
My Q is a redsport yet my tuner warned me about the overboosting issue after installing ldp and cbe running the stock tune when going in for warranty purposes

C43s come underrated from the factory also, tune for tune no c43 aint pulling on no q60 properly tuned, she may have the parts but those are not dialled in properly, and that c43 owner is sand bagging his car aint making no 475hp sorry. Hes well over 500hp. Same power he aint beating no q60 call it what u want transmission, when those things are tuned they are animals. Look back at the very first time Sam raced these 2 cars awhile back and the q60 crushed the c43. Stock for stock they are pretty even, despite the c43 having 9spd and a bit lighter.

There is 0% chance that the q60 is making 460bhp with a jb4 boost controller. A full ecutek flash tune with the same bolt ons would get you 460.... thay car is making about 420 tops

ECU and TCU tunes will be added once I'm out of warranty. There is just over 10,000kms on the car as is. Racebox and HP Tuners are still sorting out the transmission tune. For now I'll enjoy a few more psi of boost courtesy of the JB4 and I'll keep bring the car out when Sam thinks we can make some good content for y'all

Every time sam has featured a redsport against the c43 it gets gapped. The q days are over even nissan knows it thats why jacto is buying mercs transmissions. Merc is just a better car
