Emirates is a very good airline and I love the Economy class seats on the A380 and they feel comfortable and I love the Ice entertainment system and the food is exquisite but best is the boarding music
I also can't believe that A380s are looking nearly the same today as it was about a decade ago! Mind-blowing how the A380s stay exactly the same in look for a decade!!! Very mind-blown!
The A380s in 2010 look almost exactly the same as now! So much same that the A380 doesn't even look old at all! No differences! When I first saw this video, before looking at the date it was filmed, I literally thought that this was recent! Maybe I got an idea that it wasn't, it was long time ago, when I saw that you filmed the pushback as well, which is usually not filmed.
Just Immense! A truly amazing aircraft to fly on. The closest thing to a 5* hotel in the skies. Fantastic achievement from Airbus and superb capture on video. 10/10
@doryanishayan It's simple physics. If you have two engines, they'll be running faster than four engines. The curved fan blades obviously help, but the amount of engines counts too. Also, the outer two are farther from the cabin, which also affects the sound a bit.
Now thats one bright shiny big ass plane! I managed to see one taking off in person at LHR whilst I was waiting to check in for my flight to JFK last summer.....amazinggg!!! Brilliant video- thanks!
A video I keep going back to ... just PERFECT. Great editing and lovely filming. Stunning use of ATC too. Just great to have no f`ing music. And the lovely ending .. just right .. stunning!
WOW OUTSTANDING. Great job Really nicely filmed. I love the way you keep the camera still and no music ... thank you. Lovely ending mute with just the atc goodbye .. very classy. A lovely piece of film.
Just been to New Zealand and most of my flights were in one of these (except one leg in the 777) what a fantastic aircraft, so smooth and a dream to fly in
@doryanishayan The 777's engines produce, on average, 115000 lb thrust per engine. Meanwhile, the A380 produces only 76.5k lb thrust per engine. Even the the A380 has four engines, the outer two are farther from the cabin, not to mention the newer engines.
@trucker6749 THANK YOU!!!! People dont understand that Boeing and Airbus are the top two aerospace companies in the world, they make the best and most popular planes in the world, you never hear about Bombardier and Embraer competing or Lockheed and McDonnell Douglas arguments,!!!
@Joeaviation1712 Scottish control zone is bigger than just Scotland. The south "border" is near Manchester. The Departure lead the pilots north bound into the Scottish control zone
Thank you for this excellent video and editing. Love or hate the A380's photogenic status.. it always demands attention and this video simply shows that. Thanks again!
@topgunphill I am not familiar with ATC in the UK, but Germany has 3 big ATC centers that control the entire german airspace. You can take off from Dortmund and be asked to contact Bremen control, 200 miles north. Maybe english airspace was very busy and english ATC asked their scottish colleagues to help cover the northern part of England? ATC doesnt have to follow country frontiers either, of course, radio waves dont care about countries.
@Starglance I totally agree with this i work at Heathrow as a ramp guard and always see Emirates and Qantas..they are amazingly quiet for theyre size even when reversing thrust.
the place I got taught how to fly (barton, manchester) said you should only use reverse thrust to brake the plane and to take it off about 60 knots. and also you can only reverse thrust to reverse the plane where ther is not much traffic around because it can affect other planes .
You can not judge quite or loud sound from a video. It depends on the camera's microphone. This A380 sounds very loud but actually it is not when you stand beside the runway. Here in Hamburg (Airbus-Home) there are many A380 taking off and landing and I must say the A380 is one of the quietest airplanes in the world. A landing 777 (wich lands every wednesday next to my window where I work) makes more sound than the A380. As I said, this video sound is not a reference!
I'm going on this plane on October 31st. From Manchester to Dubai. Then Dubai to Sydney! I hope it's a good flight. I imagine a flight that long the novelty will wear off :/
Emirates uses Duabi airport as hub between europe and middle-east and south-east asian countries. There are flights from London Heathrow, gatwick, manchester, birmingham, paris, dublin, you name it and all lands at duabi, then they have smaller planes for connecting flights to India, Pakistan, sirilanka, Iran, and rest of the countries. Their business model really working like tree barnch diagram
This is a first rate video, good photography, really good sound. You must have a heck of a telephoto lense. Thanks so much for bringing us right onto the field.
@icedtofu the fan blades of 777 are straight... thats why... the fan blades of a380 and the new 787 dreamliner are not straight... they are kinda swept ... if u know what i mean... :)
you have to admire the engineering and design of such a aircraft but i just find it hard to get excited over these newer greener type aircraft!!they are kind of all the same as each other when you visit the airport nowadays, give me a load of bac 1-11's (pocket rockets) and noisy stuff like that any day of the week!!!good footage though, well done!!
Amazing Filming. Amazing Panning. Perfect Views. Perfect ATC Crisp and Clear. Immense Quality. Loved the bit where she lifted of and the taxi on! Must have been amazing to get so close! I can tell you one thing standing under those engines was a great feeling but getting this close with all 4 EA Engines running up is even better! Had to watch a couple of times ;) Keep it up!
@yoDog421. It was my first time flight. It was about 17 hours. I enjoyed it. You got internet and a lot of movies to relax. I really loved it and it was good experience to me. thanks.

@lilblitz You were on this flight and it broke down, and had to return to the airport. Your not alone sir this aircraft is always turning around with wiring problems/ electrical problems. Maybe they get their wiring from Lucas !! Alot of people call this plane the A180 because after it takes off it usually has to turn back with some kind of problem
Amazing video dude! Fantastic HD video quality, beautiful sound and ATC. Great timing too! Only the Emirates 380 is the major plane seen in the video. Once again, awesome video! Keep it up man, I subbed you! :-)
@Factnotfictionpeople No really, what is that huge gap just behind the wing near the landing gear.Just for the sake of asking, have you been inside a C17 (cockpit the whole Enchilada) I got into one @ the Dubai Airshow .IT WAS AMAZING seriously a must see for us guys that LOVE PLANES .The cockpit was so tiny for me and that's weird coming from a 6 foot 1 or 2 guy , So imagine the guys that fly those guys were @ the show and they were TALL .It was the C17 7173 belonged to the 436th & 512th AW
I was just watching the engines and I have a question. Do the engines send power to the wheels like a car or do they produce thrust and push the plane along the runway?
@trident3b I have no views on other carriers really ... just the hype around Emirates is so annoying when you experience them. My journey on that holiday was London/Dubai/Cape Town and return. 4 flights gives you a pretty good idea. The only plus was the Sth African crew from Dubai to CT, worked hard and were pleasant. Issues of safety (baby belts, emergency seats) are, in my experience, are overlooked on BA.

What a sight... I love air-planes and I love Emirates and watching the A380 is the best view ever!
That flies right overhead my workplace every day on its approach to Manchester, looks awesome.
@David170390 The engines provide thrust and the thrust speeds through the air. Good question for those who didnt know.
They look so gracefully just after they become airborne. Watched a couple of videos and there's something about the A380 as they lift off.
A380 is awesome... It looks stable and clear diamond in the sky.

I been in the A380's copla time now and WHAT an excellent beast of a machine it is!
Just beautiful!! Just beautiful... I have been on Singapore A380 coming back from Manila and I loved it!! Thats a great HD Video.Thank you.
Fantastic video, could I just ask, when does the A380 takeoff on 23L again? Usually it uses 23R, thanks.
I don't care if my ears are bleeding from the sound of the engines. It's all worth it. 😍😍❤️❤️

Your very lucky in my eyes. I have not had the fortune to see an A380 in person yet. Love your videos!
Very nice camera work. I appreciate the crispness and stability of your video and the neat cuts.
I was once on Virgin 747 VS77 Waiting to take off as the Emirates A380 was taking off.
It created so much thrust! Grass was on a 180 degrees!
@Joeaviation1712 Scottish control zone is bigger than just Scotland. The south "border" is near Manchester. The Departure lead the pilots north bound into the Scottish control zone
Even though I still like 747 better, this A380 is soooooooooooooooooo beautiful.... what an amazing plane!
You are so professional. I really enjoy watching. I have been flying with A380 Emirate a few times.
Thank you for this excellent video and editing. Love or hate the A380's photogenic status.. it always demands attention and this video simply shows that. Thanks again!
@doryanishayan That is because the 777 two engines, which means more thrust per engine.
i went on the A380 about a week ago from Hong Kong then from Dubai to Manchester. The wings on these planes are huge!! and it is alot more quit inside

I can see them flying 12km over my house everyday. You don't even need any optical equipment to see the details of this beast!
ECELLENT video! Great camera shots, got the radio traffic and all. PRO job!
Agreed, but the cover is still amazing!

It's such a beautiful aircraft. Much more pretty then the dated old 747
beautiful sight and fantastic footage!
We were actually looking at the pilot!!! :-)
Thanks a lot for sharing....what an amazing airplane!
Love it, flew to Los Angeles on Emirates A380. My first ever flight.
thats cool..my father was a captain on 747 in the 70s..he worked for American Airlines for over 30 years..
Been on a a380 business class it's awesome
Thanks for uploading this. Great filming again!
Yep, but I'm not sure if there are as many :) all the times I've heard an EK on a radio it seems to be a pilot from one of the countrys above :)
I was waiting for thi video!! departure of the a380 in this runway!! thank you!! what a beauty
superb quality piece of filming! thank you

Use a scanner and tune it to the airport's ATC frequency.

Nice video. I just went first class on the Emirates A380 from Manchester! Thought I'd see what it looked like from the outside. Nice :)
Such a cool video, cheers for sharing! Had the privilege of flying this in July '11 except we took off in the other direction on the other runway :)
@doryanishayan That's true, but the amount of thrust still plays a role in sound.

beautifuly edited video and air traffic conversation. Well done!
So many times I have experienced this thrill Flying to Kuala Lumpur via Dubai 👌👌👌
Manchester, videographers' heaven!
love the sound of that engine :D

Me too! I’ve ALWAYS LOVED Emirates Airlines! ESPECIALLY the AIRBUS GIANT A380(s)!!
Watching the A388 take off never gets old.

pretty generic statement, exactly the type of thing an A380 pilot wouldn't say
awais ahmed for Emirates.?

I guess technically they're only part Pratt, the GP7000 being a product of the Engine Alliance (a Pratt/GE joint venture) :)
Mindblowing! What a beautiful sight :)🥰

@saranghaelove1 But these aren't trents, Emirates uses the engines made by both GE and PW for their A380s :p
Wow Jett203 I really enjoy watching all of your videos, Emirates has to pay you money for this good advertisement.
@yoDog421
The noise wont pop your ears. A380 is really, really quiet
It just seems to defy gravity, awesome piece of machinery.
¡Qué MAGNÍFICO avión! ❤ EMIRATES.
thanks for videoing my flight to dubai it was brill and going again next month
@ashrazor911 you have to use an airband radio

actually planes can reverse thats why they have reverse thrust on the engines however it isnt used unless there is an extreme emergency
Fantastic Shot,s and looks great leaving on 23L:)
This baby is just the best, have flown on her 4 times now! Nothing on earth gets near to it!!!!!
British pilots. The best.
