    First step for me is to place frame on engine. Then I start with the other parts.

      Same . While my engine is out and getting a complete overhaul, I had time to turn my frame into a gas tank. Welding all the holes , sealing and powder coating was a pain in the ass but worth it. Took a 2 weeks and 60 hrs + . As soon as the engine was done I was able to drop it on top. No downtime. Now , if I can find a faster way to sand cast all my foot pegs, levers and has tank cap ; I'd be happy. Oh well, another 80 or more hours to happy land.

    Looks great! What size and brand tires did you use front and back? I’m working on a virago build and trying to figure out the largest tires I can get away with especially in the rear. Without rubbing.

      Kofi Ofori maching Pirelly Sport Demons. Front- 130/80R17, rear- 130/90R16. We couldn’t fit wider tyre in the back due to driveshaft casing.

    you think its possible to use a 91
    engine on a 83 frame?

      It looks possible. There is a possibility that some fabrication will be needed.

    What stem did you use for front end swap? did you buy from cognito moto or made your own?

    Dope video - do you know if a 2003 r6 front end fits?

      Jack Pistone yes it will fit. You’ll need right stem for r6 yoke

    Did you make the battery box and that secondary housing next to it? (not sure what's that's going to be for...I assume ancillary wiring?

      Yes, we did. From the front: regulator rectifier (underneath is ignition unit), box for m-unit and battery box. All fits underneath of petrol tank.

      @@3knightsmotors That looks like a GSXR600/750 FE, right? I really wanted to run an 80 to get close to the 90 rear...but tough to find in a 120. The extra height or width doesn't cause any issues?

      Rear rim is original, front- Suzuki gsxr k1, came with fork. Tyres were purchased online, Pirelli Sport Demons. Front- 130/80/R17, rear- 130/90/R16.

      @@3knightsmotors what size did you fit? They go really well together, even with the different rim sizes.

      Overall diameter of both wheels is the same. Front- 130/80/r17, back 130/90/r16. It wasn’t easy to find matching tyres in these sizes as well 😉

      ......You can ,Just contact Rajputana Customs,they made some amazing cafe racers with our good old Royal Enfield,just ask them if they can source for Yamaha XV750,they can prob mod it to a caferacer.

      Bohdan Bychkovyak thanks 😊. Tank is original, back is lifted by around 70mm. Because of this we can fit munit and antigravity battery under the tank, regulator rectifier lives there as well 😉

      What anti gravity battery did you use? And how did you get the gas tank to sit high? Bracket underneath ?

      @@scotts5571 it’s antigravity 801, I don’t remember how many cells, but as per their website- it fits 750cc bikes. Tank sits on original mounting points in the front and on battery box in the back

It kind of looks like you used leaf springs but they look too thin. Anyway. if you cannot make a video of it can you at least let us know how you made it. Thanks!

      If you are asking about head set bearings for the fork stem? We ordered bearings together with cognitomoto stem

      @@3knightsmotors greetings! Love this build. I’m doing one as well. Any chance you could tell me where you got your throttle cable? I put clip-ons onto my forks so my OEM cable is too long now. Looking for the length and brand you went with. I’m thinking I’ll need a 30” cable + or - a few”. Thanks!

      @@justinlacy8428 we still haven't got cables and break lines. These will be ordered when engine is installed. We will be looking at options of custom cables.

    What rear shock did you use? Did it work with the stock mounts?

      We used Hagon shock, it’s designed as a direct replacement, fits to original mounts

      Yes, all cables and brake hoses will be custom

    I'm using a ZX10R Fork with a 130/80 17 tyre on my XV920R Build. How did you solve the clearance problem when the fork is completely compressed? The tyre starts to rub on the valve-maintenance-cap way before the end of the possible suspension travel...

      Did you look at it? Is it enough big clearance? I'm about to order same tyres, would love to know if it's save to use same size tyres

      @@RobAscenD I endet up machining a 20mm spacer to lengthen the damper inside the fork plus limiting the hydro-damping inside the fork by another 15mm... (resulting in 35mm total)
      Now there is about 10-15mm space between the tyre and the valve-maintenance-cap.
      If you are using the same Kawasaki fork, I can provide the CAD-files ;)
