Unfortunately we were forced to repaint all engine parts due to first attempt failing. Engine enamel wasn’t bonded strong enough to aluminium and could be scratched off quite easily. Decision was made to completely strip the engine, remove enamel paint and apply cerakote.

Apologies for such a delay on our project updates. Definitely will be posting more stuff from now on. We started our second project along side with XV750. Massive thanks to Peter from www.tyretetectrading.co.uk for sorting pair of tyres for this proje...

Equipment (bead roller, shrinker, stretcher) which you see in this video was used first time. We still learning, exploring RUclips endlessly. The result is not bad at all for the first time.

Little teaser of what we will be working on soon in parallel to motorcycle customisation. It’s our first project of this scale, where a lot of fabrication will be required.

Not a lot left till the finish of this project. It was interesting journey 🙂
How far have you gotten with this project? That's good work so far, I'm envious of your sheet metal skill
We didn't finish this project. It was sold
It is available for order ?
Hi, the aluminium plates and perspex glass stop light parts could be made available. The rest would be very difficult without the bike.
@@3knightsmotors what is appointment price for seat ?
Жирная сидушка! можно заказать ?
What rear shock did you use?
Hagon shock, they make it specially for this model
I enjoyed it very much. Keep it up! You are late to the party = P r o m o s m !!!
What size pipe are you using? Great work!
Thanks. 45mm OD from heads to the split. 50mm- after the split
Hey, where did you get the flange and start of the header pipe from?
Hi Josh, we designed and laser cut flanges. Start of header is same pipe, just has a sleave outside larger than hole in the flange.
you think its possible to use a 91 engine on a 83 frame?
It looks possible. There is a possibility that some fabrication will be needed.
What stem did you use for front end swap? did you buy from cognito moto or made your own?
Cognito moto stem was used
Could you be so kind and tell me what kind of tyres you used for front and rear. Many thanks in advance 🙂☺️
Actually I saw your reply to someone else with same question.
вилки в сборе дорого стоят? унас заряжают просто капец за них
Точно непомню, кажется шестьсот фунтов отдали в ebay за них (вилки, верхний и нижний клампы, колесо, тормозные диски и супорта). Всё от GSXR K1.
I think I noticed the DLC damaged on the Suzuki fork tube. Mine is coming off on my Hayabusa. If yours was coming off were you able to repair it? Nice shop and work. Joe.
An amazing work and a very unique styling for the seat..appreciated the upload..can I ask you to build a similar brackets for my virago project for the seat..I'm willing to pay depending on the price.
Hi mate, one of the brackets is welded to the frame. If you have access to mig welder, you could do it yourself
@@3knightsmotors my skills with the welder are very questionable..I will have to give it to someone to do it for me for the frame part..its the second bracket on the rear shock if you could do? If you can't, do you mind sharing the specs so I can get it fabricated here?

Nice to give a ride to a beautiful girl! On top of the fuel tank of course. haha
Wonderful tail. Very creative.
Cool videos. They are “brakes” not “breaks” by the way.
Big old backbone frames are awesome
Can't disagree 😊
3:04 what’s with the tiny foot tapping to the music behind the front wheel 😂 Edit: oh that’s just the tip of his foot 😂
💪👍
First step for me is to place frame on engine. Then I start with the other parts.
Engine is not ready, yet 😉
Same . While my engine is out and getting a complete overhaul, I had time to turn my frame into a gas tank. Welding all the holes , sealing and powder coating was a pain in the ass but worth it. Took a 2 weeks and 60 hrs + . As soon as the engine was done I was able to drop it on top. No downtime. Now , if I can find a faster way to sand cast all my foot pegs, levers and has tank cap ; I'd be happy. Oh well, another 80 or more hours to happy land.
why the video is incomplete.😡😡
Because this bike still looks the same. We will be working on this project very soon 😉
It's nice to look at the work of the master :-)
Thank you very much 🙂

I wish I was able to buy it in India 😭😭😭😭😭😭
......You can ,Just contact Rajputana Customs, they made some amazing cafe racers with our good old Royal Enfield, just ask them if they can source for Yamaha XV750,they can prob mod it to a caferacer.
Where did you get the rims and tires ? And what size are they if you mind ? Thank you
Rear rim is original, front- Suzuki gsxr k1, came with fork. Tyres were purchased online, Pirelli Sport Demons. Front- 130/80/R17, rear- 130/90/R16.
