This is definitely one the hidden gems from the fall season 2024, I love how refreshing it is especially how overwhelming this time period was!! I was getting Vinland Saga vibes from this anime as well!!

amazing series so far, only complaint is sometimes they make the animation hella dark and it was annoying. grew to love the intro and outro the more i watched it. while the characters are fictional, the astronomical concepts shown like the planetary motions and other stuff are what scholars came up with in our history, also all those real torture devices. by the way, that was oczy being tortured in the intro of episode 1 in case u didn't catch it in the recent episodes pretty effed up tool en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pear_of_anguish

Sleeper for sure! On paper, it doesn't look like it could be all that interesting, but for me, I was hooked with the first episode.
