Aston actually refer to that colour as Sage I believe and in that metallic version was first seen in the 1970’s on the DBS, although it’s an evolution of the original Aston Racing Green used on the Le Mans cars and the even the factory DB3S. I prefer Royal Cherry - I remember a crew in Derby fitting an Aston DB7 V12 to a Range Rover Classic some years ago painted in that colour, beautiful when finished but I think took over 2 years to build. Great episode Ben, Dave and team - Q for Dave, What’s the benefit of the Prerunner shocks over long travel +2” OME shocks?
No they don’t. It’s a 60’s colour, as seen on the DBS in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and recreated for the 2019 DBS Superleggera OHMSS limited edition. Californian Sage is a similar colour but slightly paler.
I love the channel, but I was a bit disappointed about this episode. 2 weeks pause and teasing with a post about a scram video. Than this episode aired and no Dave in it and just a combination of some not very interesting jobs being done. No red line in it. And please stop with repeating like & subscribe a million times! Seemingly it has become an internal joke at Mahker but to the regular viewer it has become very repetitive. But in general - keep up the good work! Amazing engineering and attention to detail.
Scram video is dropping on Tuesday. Dave wanted a couple of amends doing and it would’ve meant we put two videos out back to back. It’s uploaded and scheduled for Tuesday. It’s brilliant, you’re going to love it. But get a beer and a burger as it’s 45mins long.
Have a great Christmas and New Year guys, stay safe out there in the wilds of English pub life. Happy trails
Still waiting for that lottery win for my dream land rover in the meantime I just have to watch your videos

That 2.2 Puma is going to be a nice unit.
Doubt it, it needs a 300 TDi to be any good ! 😊
@Bruno - what tough coat paint do you use now then if it has changed?
It’s made by Kent also it’s a special formula for underbody’s.
@@wearemahker sounds good. How do you treat the inside of the chassis rails?
