Wow Phil, loved that video, jeez I lived up in Grafton for 9 years back in the late 70's and early 80's but didn't have a road registerable trail bike at the time but I rode my Strom on Clarence Valley way heading up to a weekend in Urbanville about 8 years back, I've camped up at Cangai near the river on a private Property owned by a Mate's Uncle, I think that was the Mann River. It's truly God's Country up there.
loved it, well that's the way to do it right. I live in Yamba and love to explore, ive been sticking to the coastal parks and loving it aswell, now ive seen this that's out time to explore my other back yard. thx ive subscribed so I can watch more you adventures. PS: I follow another fella very much like you named Chriss bannaman, have a watch his quite different to most posts worth the watch, ok chow an safe travels .
Thanks Tom, glad you enjoy the videos. You live in a great little town - love Yamba, fished and surfed there a bit over the years. Ps- I literally just done nearly that exact loop around the Clarence on the weekend. I'll put the video up Thursday I'd say. Enjoy 👍
Awesome Phil - so glad you loved it in there, one of my best ever rides was basically what you did in reverse. There's a prime spot very near where you camped That Jonas showed me when he took me through - a little trail takes you right down the a river bank camp site. Looked like you were just above it. Beautiful video mate as always.
Cheers David. Funny, i was wondering where that spot to camp was (that you mentioned a while back) and I was literally 150 meters from it. When I walked off fishing I run into it on the way back to camp. Looked good, and I'll stay there next time I do that loop. Cheers mate 👍
great vid again , thanks for sharing , looks like awesome country side....how do you find such great roads?.....Google maps, Google earth, garmin , apple? cheers
Hi Phil. I used to live near coaldale and I've done the same run as you did, like you say bloody beautiful country out there. Check out broadwater bridge and cangi bridge next time both on the mann river. However the're getting very popular these day's. By the way who was that riding with you? 😂👍👍
Another great video Phil. I'm packed and heading up the coast tomorrow if the rain holds off. Sheeba Dams the first night, Mann RIver the second. Can't wait. I never noticed your homemade Stegz before. I just made a pair myself and hopefully will get to try them out this trip.
@@the-igloo ah, I see what ya mean. They're actually marker buoys / balls on some overhead wire crossing the river. I assume for planes? Dunno, bit odd- and pretty high up.
Great video mate. Just a headsup - If those are rocks from the river bank around your campfire be really careful - they can explode/crack apart when hot if they have water trapped inside and potentially throw shrapnel (fellow camper told me about it after i had a rock semi explode in my campfire long ago lol) Nice walk the dog on the lure :) took me quite a bit of practice to get that technique working for me
Hi Jack, getting a few shirts sorted out very soon- white, and black T shirts (same logo as the one I've been wearing). Sizes large to 2 x large. Will let ya know when they're ready to go 👍
Be sure to give this video a LIKE! Best way to help promote the video! Cheers 👍👍

Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍
Gee I enjoyed that mate. It's been a long time since I've been through there.
Good to hear, Roger. There's some wonderful country behind Grafton, hey. Cheers
As the blokes at work say, Rancho Relaxo! Great video, I like the calmness, rather than the typical drama on a lot of videos. ✌
Ah thanks Simon 😎👍 I like to soak up the rides / scenery. Don't enjoy the drama and racing around stuff. Catch ya
Ah you always find the serene stunning locations!! Thanks Phil 😊
Cheers Michelle, glad you enjoy them 😁👍

Sweet Coobye, sounds like a good run - have fun mate 👍 Yeah, the home made Stegz work good, great on beach sand and up steep hills. Catch ya
UFOs @13:15 what are they?
Dunno Igloo. 13:15 is just the bridge shot. Maybe the moon a bit later on?
@@MidCoastAdventures I see 2 dark round objects in the upper left @13:24 they look close. I reckon you just bagged yourself a Tictac video!

Hey Daniel. Yeah, had them blow up in the past...lol Seems more the ones that are wet / in water. These the high and dry 👍 Catch ya mate
@@MidCoastAdventuresyes my dad warned me about exploding river rocks years ago. It makes sense if the rock has been underwater for a while.
Hi Phil, is there a place where we can buy any shirts to support you?
Hi Jack, getting a few shirts sorted out very soon- white, and black T shirts (same logo as the one I've been wearing). Sizes large to 2 x large. Will let ya know when they're ready to go 👍
There's a ride map in the Description panel. Enjoy the video guys 😎👍
