Thank you for the memories mate. The family of my life long friend owned property on the Rocky River and I have great memories of my TS250 Suzuki Savage and riding there and camping from Tenterfield. That lookout at the back or Mount Lindsay was my old rabbit shooting territory back in the very early 70s along with the mechanic in Rouse Street Tenterfield (Col Mann). Again great memories, thank you.
So glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back a lot of fond memories. It really is a beautiful area and I'm looking forward to doing that trip again in the near future. ATB Jason 👍
Beautiful ride! Beautiful scenery and I hope to be able to camp soon on my DR650. I just received the 20L tank and Acerbis engine protection, slowly but surely equipping my bike. Greetings from Chile!
@@badyride909 Glad you enjoyed it mate 👍 The DR is the perfect platform to build an adventure bike perfect for you and easy to maintain. Ride safe mate. ATB Jason 👊
Thanks mate 😁 Choosing the right music I like and to suit the video takes me longer than actually editing the video lol. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍
This an easy three quarter day ride staying at the Tenterfield saddler motel from Brisbane. It is a very easy leisurely ride and quite scenic. Last time we rode it was in summer and we stopped and spent about an hour swimming in the river. Very refreshing when 34 degrees and arrived in Tenterfield mid afternoon in time for a shower and the happy hour at the hotel right beside the motel.
Great videos. I really enjoyed the scenery, music and relaxed approach to the riding. I do quite a bit of touring, camping on a road motorcycle and looking to add off road riding, camping to my riding. I am looking forward to more of your videos.👌
Thanks very much for your comment and I'm glad that you've enjoyed the videos, plenty more in the pipeline 😁 I made the transition from road to dirt so I could get off the beaten track and camp in more remote locations. I've never looked back, you'll love it. ATB Jason 👍
Great to watch, nice and relaxed style without all the hype that sometimes comes with adv videos. I live at Warwick and work at Amberley, so I have the pleasure of running Cunningham's Gap every day, usually on the bike. We are blessed with some great roads in SE Qld. All the best and looking forward to more content!
Thats exacxtly the type of riding I am hoping to do as I have just purchased a KLR650. If ever you are doing another trip like that I'd love to join you . Am just getting into dirt riding after riding the black top Around the block last year on an old 2002 TDM 900 clocking up 17500 klms. ....Enjoyed you Vlog mate well done. cheers
Thanks mate. My first taste of adventure riding was on a KLR650, great bike. I'm hoping to do some outback rides before it gets too hot later in the year if you're interested, see how things go. Thanks for watching. ATB Jason 👍

Hi Mate a great video , some very cinematic shots , I do a similar channel in Western Australia , have Subed and will go and have a look at your second video , keep the shiny side up and good luck growing your channel , with content like this is should prosper . Regards Pete
The quality of your production is impressive; but I received some disconcerting feedback about it from some local residents on Gunyah Road. Apparently the lookout itself is situated on private property; and the locals are less than impressed with visitors driving vehicles up onto the rock for photo-opportunities or whatever. In the interests of keeping the place unfenced and unsigned, and freely open to public access, the locals would like us to park on the roadside edge, and then foot-traffic only up onto the rock. Just goes to show how careful you have to be , not to put people offside! There's also another higher and more-accessible lookout at the TV towers, back towards Tenterfield and still on the bitumen.

We were there last Thursday. Stayed at Mann River the night before. We didn't see one car from the time we got there until we left. A top spot.
