I haven't needed reinforcement so far, apart from some bouncy landings, but sounds like a good idea. I did reinforce the front of my UMX Timber X with some CF after some repairs.
If you don't push the left stick too far it's really like a trainer, glides well and doesn't have bad tendencies. But it can be a lot of fun, never had a bad flight with it. Sirens not for me fortunately, but I have flown this full throttle a bit too close to myself a few times 😂
Its hangar mate, the Cessna Citation disappeared. Get a spare while you can. The Onyx 800 fits really well. I have a Gens Ace that's too chunky. It works better in the Ultrix 600. Beautiful landing.
I know the Citation is gone, that's why I'm worried. But I do hope there are new ones to come, the F-86 just doesn't appeal to me plus I heard many say the A-10 is better.
@@A.M.-RC The battery solution on the UMX F86 has kept me away from it. That and I still haven't flown the Arrows F86 I got on sale in January. Do you remember when the V2 UMX A10 came out? Seems like 2-3 years is a frequent cut off point for models. I like the piglet and the Citation. Especially the Citation because of the lighting. But I have been very hard on both. My landings stink up the whole field.
I know bigger can fly better, handle more wind, but I prefer smaller for many reasons. Of course if I had the place to store and fly them I would probably also get more big planes.

So far it's my favorite jet regardless of size 😄 Not that I've flown many larger ones, but it flies great.

I have a 4mm C/F rod from the nose to the tail under the fuse, to keep it from folding on impact. Same with the UMX Otter. It's come in handy

Yup, almost all of them are foam. Bigger ones are sometimes wood or composite, but they cost a lot more and are not very forgiving if you crash.

Yup, heard it does about 60mph, pretty impressive for how small it is. And it only sounds good full throttle, so fast low passes are a must 😁
