"Our general is a two, two, poo, so send him into battle-" 5 shock. This man was not made to rule, this man was made to die in battle and reach the gates of Elysium.
I envy how lucky you seem to have gotten with the Ottomans just, not attempting to relieve Gallipoli. I've been attempting to follow your guide, and they always, always, always wheel about to kick me in the dick.
same with me, ive tried 24 times by now and every single time they declare on a beylik and i try taking gallipoli they just turn around with a stack and wipe my fucking army.
You’re supposed to rush the fort in gallipoli not just siege it down, there’s a button if you have enough cannons (enough boats blockading) to rush gallipoli, then you have to shift consolidate every single day that passes for roughly 19 days total before the siege ends
Yeah but for that to work reliably you have to get rid of the debuff to your fort assault ability @@InternetHandle123. As far As I can see thius was not done or not mentioned in the guide. Also in the video the fort is not assaulted. This makes the strategy not really effective.
Hey man, your hard work isn’t going unappreciated, these are pretty highly edited videos and you’re putting them out at an impressive rate. You’re killing it Emperor Alzabo
After trying this opening for the past few hours, I've come to some discoveries: 1. Serbia is only giving 150 ducats, even at maximum opinion + alliance. Paradox might have made a last minute change and didnt update the tooltip. 2. AI is sending troops immediately, even breaking out of sieges they are in and beeline gallipoli to control it. 3. The Knights will almost always raid your coasts within the first few months rendering alliance impossible (-100 relations) 4. Cyprus has a huge relation bonus towards the ottomans and won't join an offensive war 5. Hungary often declares on Serbia rendering their alliance risky. Sometimes they even declare on them while they're at war with the ottomans causing you to either war Hungary or take a massive diplo/stab hit I suspect Paradox made some last-second AI and event changes based on your video.
1. they gave me 250 on he second try, so this may be more random/dependent on their economy 3. never happened to me and I tried numerous times 5. While this can be true, they are the only option with budget for your 250 ducats and AI prefers to attack Bosnia anyway Other than that, I agree, a lot of the things in this video are VERY hard to materialize.
@@irfanhekimoglu2294 this solved it for me thank you only took 2 attempts with mercs failed like 8 times without them i also build up a spy network to siege better and took the 10% from the expiditon event for 150 mil
It's a good guide, but it's still highly reliant on RNG. The missions can be different, Serbia can not quite like you enough to send the full 250, whether you can take Galipoli or not before the Ottomans come and crush you is a *huge* matter of RNG, the Knights can raid your coasts, which makes allying with them much harder (If anyone is stuck on that - the -100 penalty to *your* opinion of them from the raid prevents allying. You can fix it if you're lucky by guaranteeing them, asking them for access, managing your opinion and manually setting it to friendly and keeping on improving relations - that also boosts your own opinion of them. Despite the tooltip claiming that you must have a positive opinion of them, you should be able to ally once the opinion gets to -25)
This doesn’t work I think. Seems like a very RNG strat. Ottomans won’t wait until you siege the Gallipoli fort. Rebels won’t take it on time either so Ottomans can easily cross and attack you.
most times the knights raid you and you can ally them, epirus sometimes allies Genoa or Albania, its funny how this tutorials are ALWAYS the perfect RNG, i mean he could at least warn us about those possibilities, since they happen often

If you're having trouble with the opening strat: Focus on getting rid of the Army debuff ASAP, as it prevents you from being able to assault forts (effectively at least). The rest of the opener can be followed pretty faithfully, but you need to get rid of that privilege first.
all this guide shows is how to beat the turks when everything goes right but everything doesnt always go right and im yet to see how you can beat the turks when they arent stuck fort sieging. the entire guide falls apart if the ottomans send one of the two armies to break your siege that wipe your army.

he didn't, something is sus about the strat. ottomans doing nothing until 1448 and then literally ignoring him while the straits are unblocked for 2 years.
Ottoman AI was busy in Candar and the rebels occupied Gallipoli, allowing the blockade to work. Rebels or occupying the province in war yourself is enough for the boats to block the strait
those 1.36 byz guides are just not rng steady, i dont know how you guys get 5 shock or in other guides 5 siege on the merc corps, i get wrecked by one 12k ottoman army with penalty rolls on my 24k allied army with ease. just not to mention you have like a 1 in 5 chance to even have the chance to get knights on your side its still not 100% he does something useful with his fleet after that for some reason. And one thing that doesnt happen to all CC on their guides which is the most weird part: ottomans fights for gelibolu like mad just when you try to touch it. It doesnt matter where he is with his armies and if he is sieging stuff. Either they changed a lot with the prebuild on 1.36 to the release version or i just cant imagine to recreate those reliably. Dont get me wrong maybe 1 in 20 or 1 in 50 you will eventually get there but to proclaim this as a guide without warning how unstable it is is just clickbait
