- HOW TO USE THE EJECT ON A SPAR
In this video, Nate Williams with the Petzl Technical Institute is going to take a look at the proper setup and use of the EJECT friction saver used as a secondary belay system while dismantling a tree. - Наука
I'm sure this works great for many climbers. But to me it looks like solutions in search of a problem.
Nate, nice video. This system is very handy when working down a spar. It also can work if there are no natural crotches to place the Eject.
Hello. thanks for teaching this rope access technic .👍🏾💛
Question? The side Ds on a Sequoia harness are listed as “work positioning” not fall protection on Petzl’s spec sheet. Doesn’t that mean Nate is not on dual belay systems in this configuration? Shouldn’t Nate have the Zillon on the gold gated attachment rings to use the system properly as a secondary system for fall protection?
Good call, I noticed that right away.
Oh shoot, yep!
Yeah what's he doing? Certainly doesn't seem right.
I like how you only had a foot or two of eject drop. It might be handy to add on to vid the proper and safe dual rope drop of the Eject from canopy height. I ve seen way to many falling from canopy height like a missile 😳🤔
Hi Nate, good job !
Really nice. This is a challenge. Greetings ❤️❤️❤️
Have I been using my 2n1 wrong all along? I have a prusik with snap on my lanyard as well. Never thought of doing that.. Is it to create a choke point?
❤️❤️Nice TIPS i LIKE It❤️❤️
Man that's tedious... But doable I guess.
You should not take off your lanyard from the tree when you descent ,you just loose it and come down or go up.
Crap way too much complicated
